Thanks so much for confirming that I am making good dietary choices, by making the same ones I do! I don't know anyone else who eats like me, and all I hear are comments like: "You eat all that health food, but you're the unhealthiest person I know, so why on earth would I want to eat that way?" They don't take an illness they've never heard of seriously, so they don't realize I'd have been dead long ago if I ate like them. I feel less like a food freak now knowing there is someone else out there......

Thanks for the added info on your supplements. I also take Vit. C, but not timed release, since I need it to act in my stomach to help keep the precancerous cells there in the "pre" stage (ref:4 Chinese research studies). Gastric CA runs in one side of my family.
I also take krill oil, R-lipoic acid, benfotiamine, trimethylglycine, L-carnatine fumarate, Turmeric, COQ10 (ubiquinol form), Caprylic acid, Ox bile, occasional potassium and loads of Magnesium citrate.
The Methyl B12 may be one reason you got better, esp. if you take a high dose and have the 1298 gene mutation, but not the 696 gene mutation. I have both, so I need the Adenosyl B12 also. There are plenty of videos on YouTube about MTHFR, if you want to check out the protocol visually, rather than reading. The protocol is to work around it, but you must take the methyl supps. for life, since the mutated gene will not disappear and methyls will not make it to receptors without supps. Some doctors to look up to learn about this are Amy Yasko, Brian Rosenberg, Ben Lynch, and Sarah Myhill (CFS expert). They all have slight disagreements on how the treatment should be done and it's quite confusing if you get brain fog like me.
I will definitely go and look at your book, and congrats on writing it! That is hard work and you should be proud of your accomplishment.
