Empaths and Emotional Telepathy

Tools for Empaths

crystalsage "]
@illuminous-ops you have just answered so many questions. I only recently began to understand that I was feeling what I was picking up as my own. Fir the last few years I have worked in these situations where I have been surrounded by angry people.

I found I had become an extremely angry person. For me this was mother most difficult thing because even though I have not lead an easy life, I've never really been angry about it. In fact more grateful because those times pushed me to do more.

There was a girl I worked with who was very angry. The day she left the job, I felt this huge relief and that was when it clicked. It was like I was never angry at all.

My problem was that I am surrounded by so many people that things get muddled and I have no idea what is coming from where. I am getting better little by little.
While I have found guidance I knew I was looking for something different. This is it. So thank you. Thank @matthew-elsey for pointing this out to me.
I am very happy to learn my documentation was helpful to you. As an empath I wanted to write something helpful to empaths that I would have wanted to have available to me when I was learning about my abilities.

I post my documents on different types of message boards for feedback, and I am very happy to learn so many empaths find this document helpful. I just wish I had a way to share it with more empaths.

Empaths and Emotional Telepathy

Tools for Empaths

There are two ways of dealing with the common empath problem of becoming angry if someone around you is angry, and especially if their anger is directed at you.  It's not uncommon for an empath who feels the emotions of people around them as their own to become angry, even if there is no logical reason for them to become angry simply because someone is angry at them or people around them are angry.

However the solution is not to explain what being an empath is and expect others to change for you because of your condition, but instead to learn how to deal with your own abilities.  To deflect this anger using the "reflect" technique in the document is easier, but not always more practical.  When you reflect someone's anger back into them the amount of anger they experience will intensify.  Some people may even become violent.  Commonly they are the people who know them who see them react will come back later and say this isn't like them and they don't usually do this, maybe offering an apology, but it is the empath who reflected their anger and made them act this way.

However the phase technique is more practical, but harder to master.  With this technique the emotions of others just phase right through you instead of affecting your emotions.  It is essentially the ability for other people's emotions to be perceived, but not influence your actions in ways you don't want.  You may feel their anger for a second or two, but then as you phase you no longer feel their anger and the problem of anger belongs to the other person not yourself.

Both of these techniques are as simple as understanding the three parts of the body connected to emotion, including the heart chakra of an empath, performing the visualizations for at least several days getting a feel for perceiving their energies through the visualizations and then acting on the visualizations to control the flow of emotion consciously with the visualizations.

Keep in mind reflect is easier, but has a nasty side effect of making the person whose emotions you are reflecting more angry.  They may create some idea in their mind to justify why they are angrier than the normally are or they may come back and apologize saying they aren't usually like that, but reflecting the emotions pushes their anger back into them.  Phasing the emotions through you is harder and is easily mastered by practicing all the other techniques.  However for phasing you really want to use meditation along with the visualizations.  I have posted on another post here a basic guide to meditations which work well with the empath emotional telepathy training guide you can use.

May I suggest using track 2 of this brainwave entrainment program?  It helps with building psychic ability.  (See my post here on empaths and emotional telepathy to see why I consider being an empath a psychic ability.)

Simply download and use track 2 when trying to tune into your intuition.  Over time you won't need the track anymore.  This is all free.   I don't make any money off it.  It's just something I made to help people.

Empaths and Emotional Telepathy

Tools for Empaths

Personally I've never used these techniques to do anything I have described above.  I only use them for self defense, peacekeeping, and to use healing techniques as the absorb ability helps me heal deep personal wounds in others and sometimes I have used them for an important cause with good intentions.  I have never given into temptation to do these things I described as I would consider it immoral.  These were just examples of temptations I would expect other people might use this power for.

However I have had the chance to reflect anger back at people just to make an example of them in front of others and manipulate the situation so they cannot harm me.  I once used reflect on someone who called the police on me over some BS drama and made a fool out of her.  She was trying to manipulate me and make me angry in front of the officer, but instead as I reflected her emotions she made a fool of herself and the officer saw her as the problem.  This is what I mean about using these techniques in self defense.

They do take some time to get used to, but can be mastered fairly quickly as far as gaining a psychic skillset goes because empaths are born with these ability and the guides just help us control what we already have.

Mez: You said there is temptation after mastering the 5 words of power; what would the temptation be around? Is this something you have had success with?

When i talk to people like yourself i know its mutual that we're empaths and that compketely changes my vibe and mood in a more positive sense; but when other empaths arent around i guess i feel like i go to a place in my thoughts where i feel lonely or alienated because the people around me aren't empaths. i'll have a look at the yoga u suggested.. thank you

The temptation that comes with the ability to manipulate other's emotions is that you are technically altering their free will as emotion and will are directly connected.  For example if you are a salesman you could influence people with happy feelings embed with intentions to make them desire to buy something.  Likewise in everyday life if you want something from someone you might push your intentions into another person making them want to give you whatever it is you want.  Some people do this subconsciously, but when you are in control of this ability and realize you can get people to do what you want not what they want there are temptations.  You can even make people love you by pushing love emotions into them.  That's why I recommend using the 5 words of power for self defense (if you are in a situation where you feel you need to defend yourself from the choices and actions of others, even if the consequences aren't physical) for general peace keeping or for healing others.

However when you learn certain tricks some of the inherent nature of the empath that makes us benevolent changes as well.  For example if someone around you is in pain you can opt to phase not feeling that pain and thus not be obligated to feel it simply by being around them.  If you don't like that person you can even reflect that pain making it worse.  You might even be able to hurt another person emotionally without being naturally affected to feel their pain as empaths often do when you hurt said person.

By advancing your abilities certain things that apply to most empaths that make us benevolent are simply not automatic.  Mastering these techniques won't automatically make you immoral, but the fact you now have control over them gives you the power to change and evolve in your own way and opens you up to the possibility of it.  Simply by choosing morality and following your own moral code to not abuse your power it is not hard to stay on the straight and narrow so to speak.

Empaths and Emotional Telepathy

Thank you for the PDF I very much enjoyed reading that and it gave me lits of things to think about; some of which i felt like i could relate to. Sometimes i find myself in a thought bubble and forget in that moment in time whether those are my own thougts or not; i forget what reality is and the situations im in. Sometimes i could have really pissed someone off or they me and id forget perhaps space is needed to think things through and im not sure if emotional telepathy is the cause for it? I'll continue talking and maintaining some form of connection with the people concerned untill I remember oh yeah you really hurt me also but dont reflect on that aspect and then i'll tell myself it doesnt matter just screw everyone and carry on being me best i can but not the softie; but i still am perceived that way. And yes you are correct; we cant turn nasty people into nice nice ones but the option of manipulating a situation is still there. Is it rewarding in anyway? I find it mental torture

I think the experience of mastering the 5 words of power is very rewarding.  The main benefit is the phase ability which allows you to prevent other people from influencing your emotions.  This is useful since most of them do not intend to do so and many people are also unwilling to hear about empaths.  It is easier to just master your abilities than try to explain them to others to change their behavior.  For all these reasons the phase ability is useful to most empaths as a coping technique.  You must practice some form of meditation, and practice using all 5 words of power to master the phase ability. (I recommend the one in my other post in the link above and also Kuji Kiri Yoga.)

Most Empaths tend to be inherently benevolent, but there is temptation once you master these 5 words of power to use your abilities, now under your control, for things like personal gain.  This, and the amount of time it takes to practice them, are the only real drawbacks to mastering these techniques.  I would say in my experience it is worth the effort just to have peace of mind.

Empaths and Emotional Telepathy

Tools for Empaths

Even a master of emotional telepathy can only do so much, and you can't turn a mean person into a nice one, but you can temperately influence the situation. A key part of this process is visualising the energies you feel for a few days before trying to influence them with the 5 words of power. This gives your mind and your emotions time to synchronize before you apply the techniques.

I also recommend practicing reflect, push, and phase on dogs. They vibrate a strong emotional energy when they bark at passerbys. Make sure there is a fence or chain to keep them from attacking if you do this.

The Basics of Meditation

Tools for Empaths

 Basics of Meditation
By: The Magus

Part 1: An introduction to meditation

Meditation is beneficial for any person to practice. I especially recommend meditation for those who practice the path of the left hand, black magick, work with infernal energies, employ psychic skills in their craft, or practice curses or destructive magick. There is often a side effect I have noticed amoung those working with infernal energies, black magick, and / or destructive magick which involves a sort of destabilization of the psyche especially if used consistently.
Mostly this applies to use of curses and destructive magick, especially if done for the purpose of emotional gratification to achieve a feeling of justice / revenge. This process can become addicting the more it is used, building into a pattern that compromises moral reasoning to the point where it is done more excessively and the moral reasons behind it become less sound.
This can lead to a path of self destruction where often the person who has succumbed to this path is the last person to realize how lost they have become if they even reach this realization. Attacks on others tend to become less and less justified, and the negative traits perceived in others become less and less accurate while feedback from others pointing these things out become easier and easier to reject. This problem is often fixed with meditation as is most potential destabilization that comes with these practices.
I also recommend meditation for people who work with infernal energies and / or black / and darker magicks as this is a key point to remaining balanced. Those who work with psychic abilities will find their perception more accurate, their ability to manifest their will through psychic ability easier and will avoid complications which may arise on this path leading to confusion or misunderstanding of psychicly perceived reality. Practitioners of the left hand path are also advised to practice meditation mostly because this is a very stressful path that often involves social isolation and rejection to some degree and meditation helps cope with the stress and rejection which comes with this path.
One thing everyone who practices magick has in common is the pursuit of power. Whether you intend to enhance your own life, to help others, to make the world a better place, or to pursue a religious ideal your ultimate goal is to enhance your own personal power and better equip yourself to be able to use this power for whatever intention whether selfish or selfless to achieve an end that is important to you. Meditation should be seen as a key point to power.
There are meditations which increase magickal and psychic ability as well as meditations which are more focused on personal balance and harmony, but both of these are ultimately essential tools to any magickian for acquiring power. Each meditation has its own benefits and purpose.
One key point about meditation that every person starting needs to know is that if you find meditation is difficult or even stressful for you at first this does not mean what people often assume it does. Most people assume this means meditation is very difficult and that they are not good at it and that they should quit thinking “meditation is just not for me.” In reality when first learning meditation if you find it difficult or even stressful this is actually a sign that the meditation is working more quickly for you.
With practice and consistency the meditation will become easier and your brain is adjusting to the meditation process, even in resisting it, and this is a sure sign both of progress and that you will especially benefit from meditation. The key is to practice patience and consistently practice the meditation techniques even if you do not perceive you are making progress. In the initial phases of meditations, especially those involving the clearing of the mind, progress is often hard to see and is often misinterpreted as failure.
The main point to meditation is not to achieve a state of balance while meditating, but to acquire a permanently enhanced mindstate outside of meditation. People become easier to deal with, cognitive reasoning is enhanced, your behavior becomes less reactive and is enhanced in ways that benefit your ability to deal with the world around you and all of these things combined mean you can reach the goals you desire in life more easily as a result of meditation.
Meditation is especially helpful for people who have mental health problems. While not guaranteed meditation sometimes can alleviate completely some aliments like ADD / ADHD and Learning Disability, but it should not be seen as a substitute for medication for other aliments which more serious such as bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, or any aliment that severely limits the mental or emotional facilities of the brain. It can be used in addition to standard mental health coping skills and medication compliance as a tool and a coping skill to alleviate symptoms and promote general well being. In the same manner it can be helpful to any person without serious mental health afflictions who have minor problems such as problems with social skills, reactive behavior, certain triggers, etc.

It is a common saying amoung some spiritual people and especially Buddhists “You should meditate for at least 30 minutes a day unless you don’t have time in which case you should meditate for 3 hours a day.” Behind the often perceived negative connotations of this message is a fundamental truth. People who do not have time to meditate for 30 minutes a day have the most reason to need meditation. These reasons are often related to the often non-spiritual lifestyle they live and are consumed by which don’t afford them this time.
Realistically speaking however most people when confronted with this statement are more likely to give up on meditation completely than follow it through if given these instructions. I personally recommend starting at 10 minutes a day and trying to work your way up to 30 minutes a day. Some people find it very difficult to meditate and starting out with only 10 minutes is a feasible goal. It may seem very difficult for some people, but it is a good place to start. If meditation is not difficult for you I advise starting at 30 minutes a day. If you feel the meditation is beneficial to you and you truly value its benefits you will for your own reasons decide to meditate longer than this. Remember to practice patience and consistency which are the keys to getting good results from meditation before giving up on the practice.
I will discuss several different meditation techniques in this document briefly and you can feel free to research your own meditations in addition to the ones present in this documentation. If you are interested in enhancing your psychic abilities I strongly recommend the book I will be referencing that some of these techniques are built from. I will also explain some terminology used in meditation which you can use as search terms to research for more information. The first two meditation techniques which will be discussed next are more simplistic in technique and will be explained in full detail. The third and final meditation in part 4 will involve more Eastern magick and technique than the others.

Part 2: Basic Meditation – Clear the mind

This is one of the most basic meditations there is, and will possibly be one of the most frustrating meditations for a beginner to go through. The intention behind this meditation is to completely clear your mind until it is devoid of any thoughts whatsoever and access a blank state of mind for as long as possible.
The particular format of body position is not incredibly relevant in this meditation technique. Myself I like to lay down on my back, but you can also do this meditation sitting down. Your main intent in your body posture should be to be as comfortable as possible in this particular technique.
This may be a term no longer used as the age of political correctness rises, but when I was young we called this posture sitting “Indian style.” This involves crossing the legs so they fold into themselves with your feet underneath them. If you want to use a specific posture you can lie down on your back crossing your legs Indian style and place your hands behind your head and close your eyes. The crossing of the legs like this is also a yoga posture which can help with the technique. If you prefer to sit just sit in whatever style is most comfortable to you.
To start the technique simply let your mind flow with thoughts. The intention is to reach a mindstate of no thoughts and a blank state of mind and maintain it for as long as possible, but the process involves letting the thoughts get out of your system. Let your thoughts flow freely and as they flow focus on your thoughts and pay attention to them. Allow your mind to gradually reduce the amount of thoughts flowing by having thoughts such as “I will reach a blank mind state” or “these thoughts will pass and I will reach a blank mind state” and “the purpose of this meditation is to reach a blank mindstate” or any other thoughts dedicated to this purpose. Focus on your intentions and your will power and on the concept of these things as part of the process of giving these inserted thoughts power.
Insert these thoughts into your mind again and again, but continue to let the thoughts flow as they will. Slowly and over time when your thoughts settle down increase the frequency of these specific thoughts of your intention to reach a blank mindstate and make an effort to stop the flow of thoughts completely and to have absolutely no thoughts in your brain.

The first thing you need to understand about reaching this mindstate is that most people will not reach it at all or will have difficulty maintaining it in the first attempt. This can be frustrating so it is important to remember that the act of trying to reach this mindstate and failing to reach it is not an indication of failure. It is a normal step towards progress. The act of continuing to try to reach and hold this mindstate will take time for almost anyone. You may also fall asleep while doing this technique. Don’t be frustrated if this happens. It means you are achieving a relaxed mindstate and over time this problem will go away.
If you reach this mindstate and lose the mindstate just as quickly do not be frustrated. You may have a thoughts such as “I did it” ruining the thoughtless mindstate. This is normal and is part of the process. Let this realization calm you as you attempt to reach it again, as the frustration will make it harder to reach. Even if you are frustrated about losing the mindstate just allow your mind to flow with its thoughts, acknowledge to yourself the frustration will pass, and wait until your mind calms down before attempting to reach it again.
This is one of those meditations to be practiced daily that you will achieve progress in over time with practice and patience. As stated before try to do this meditation for at least 10 minutes if it is frustrating for you and 30 minutes if it is not. It is one of the simplest meditation techniques as far as technique goes, but one of the hardest to master. At advanced levels you can clear your mind completely of all thought for as long as you desire.
However it’s important to remember that struggling with this technique and thoughts coming in and being unable to stop them from coming into the mind is part of the technique. The thoughts bombarding your mind while you’re trying to clear your mind and the brain’s natural resistance to this technique is actually the process of your brain learning to adjust to a more clear mindstate. This is not failure. This is part of an ongoing process through which your brain is adapting and learning by resisting the process. The goal is not to reach this mindstate and maintain it as soon as possible in relation to the number of tries you make, but to let the process happen and take as long as it takes, because the process itself is part of the technique.

It is not a good practice to make this meditation technique competitive with others or to try to create a timeline of when you expect to reach this mindstate. Your brain may be more chaotic than other people’s and what seems like slower progress for you may actually be faster progress. Everyone advances in this technique in different speeds and you should not try to rush your progress. Advancing more or less quickly than others does not mean the meditation is more or less beneficial to you as a person. Causing things to be competitive or to set timeliness for yourself may create unnecessary stress. If you have thoughts of this naturally during meditation let them flow naturally, inserting your own thoughts along the way that in time you will progress.
This technique will help with harmony and stability in times when you are not meditating. Progress is not immediate but over time you will find many things that made life difficult, both internal problems you may or may not have even been aware of, and internal problems that seemed external or were affected by the external have simply faded away and you have evolved and grown past them. Many external problems in life will become a lot easier to deal with and in this particular technique all the points I’ve discussed in the introduction will in time be manifest guiding you on your path.

Part 3 – Chaos Meditation

This particular term may be used by others with different meaning, but in this case it is a reference to a specific type of meditation technique I have developed. The purpose of chaos meditation is to intentionally destabilize your mind state and then work on stabilizing it with meditation. A prerequisite to this technique is to have already been working on a form of regular meditation before starting this technique, such as the one above in part 2. You do not have to have mastered the technique but should have made significant enough progress to consider yourself adept at the technique.
Chaos meditation has numerous benefits. The first of which is that even a person who has mastered a meditation technique is human and has emotions. You will at some point in your life be angry, anxious, or in some manner destabilized due to the fact that you are a human being with feelings just like everyone else. Chaos meditation allows you a safe non-invasive method of experiencing an unstable mindstate and meditating to stabilize it which means that when you experience an unstable mindstate in the real world your brain will already have the experience required to work through it. This serves as an additional coping tool to get through the bad times by training your brain to endure and get through unstable mindstates.
There are other benefits to this technique, which involves the consumption of chemicals from a magickal angle for those who practice magick. A large part of magick goes beyond just the practice of outward ritual magick and tools and is affected by your mental activity as magick takes place not only on the physical realm but on a mental realm as well. Consuming specific chemicals can be useful in magick because it can amp up your energy levels, both mentally and physically, in such a way as to empower your magickal workings to be stronger and more effective.
I do not recommend the use of dangerous and / or addictive drugs either for the use of magick or the use of this chaos meditation not only because it is an unsafe practice but also because they are unnecessary. Caffeine, alcohol, energy drinks (I recommend coffee, red bull and stacker 2) are all suitable for this technique and will accomplish it’s purpose far better than the use of dangerous drugs and without any of the dangers associated with them.

The advantage of using this technique for a magickian is that through practice of this technique you will gain self control during unstable mind states in which you have increased energy running through you. This means your mental state when practicing magick is increased and your magick will have all the same focused direction and purpose because you have put time and energy into this technique and because the mental realms your magick is connected to have been trained through use of this technique.
Before consuming any chemical (I recommend caffeine, sugar, energy drinks, or alcohol) I recommend consecrating them, preferably with use of an altar and standard ritual. When using this technique just to master chaos meditation I recommend consecrating them for the purpose of creating an increase in wisdom, stability, focus of mind and / or magickal ability. When using this technique as part of a ritual I recommend consecrating them for the purpose of enhancing the ritual in a pre-ritual before the actual ritual itself.
If you do not know how to consecrate a substance it is as easy as putting them on an altar, light a candle (I recommend one red and one white, but use what works with your system) burn some standard incense (if you are evoking a deity use appropriate incense to that deity and if not sandalwood is a good choice) and take your own personal energies push them through your hands and into the candle, incense, and object being consecrated focusing on charging them with your will and personal energy. You can simply declare your intention, focusing the power through your throat chakra into your wrist chakra and through your hands into the energy going into the objects or for better results call upon a deity using prayer, evocation, or incantations to assist with this. If you have your own techniques for blessing alcohol or other substances it is preferable you use those.

This technique is very simple. First you consume the chemicals (preferably consecrated to this purpose already in ritual) to achieve a more high energy and unbalanced mindstate. Play some music such as heavy metal, rock music, or something of that nature. Choose something you enjoy that is high energy to you or that people commonly might call “negative” in nature. Let the energy move through you for a few minutes and just vibe with it. Try to be positive and enjoy yourself.

Once you’ve got a positive high energy mindstate going proceed to meditate. Keep the same high energy “negative” music playing as you meditate. You can use any meditation you desire for this including but not limited to the one explained in section 2 that is designed for stability of mind. Focus on staying in a high energy state while doing the meditation and keeping positive thoughts and energy within you.

When using this technique for ritual you should first become accustomed to it and get some experience using it regularly until you feel you are at least adept with the technique. Once this is accomplished simply repeat all the same steps as before, spend about 5 minutes on the meditation and with the appropriate chemicals still in your system start on the ritual itself. Focus your 5 minutes of meditation on thoughts about the ritual which is about to take place and visualize its results.
In addition to the use of chemicals it is also helpful to evoke a godform of a chaotic or infernal deity during the meditation or to call upon chaotic or infernal energies into yourself. This allows an element of magickal control which can increase your personal power associated with this mindstate permanently infused with traces of the god form’s power or the power of the infernal energies. This can benefit future working in magick or future power should you experience an unbalanced mindstate such as anger, anxiety, triggers, etc giving you more control of the situation. If you do not know how to invoke godforms you can research this online.

Part 4 – Yoga Technique: Mudras, Postures, and Breathing Techniques

Introduction of This System

One of the most interesting aspects of this technique is that it will literally get you high. This is a natural high which works by releasing endorphins into the brain naturally which will usually take place either between the 10 – 45 minute mark or more commonly the 30 – 45 minute mark of the technique. While there is a scientific explanation for why this high is happening there is also a fundamental spiritual truth to the fact that achieving this natural high means you have opened a spiritual gate (meaning connecting a pathway of energy and power) that will permanently empower you with whatever mudra (or more commonly called “hand sign”) you are using.
When most people in the Western world hear the word Yoga the first thing that pops into the mind is stretches and poses, sometimes associated with chakras, and often used by superficial pseudo-spiritual people who tend to come off as annoying. Don’t let this first impression most people have on this word deter you from its actual meaning. Yoga actually refers to eastern magick, mysticism, and spirituality originating in India.
Yoga is often ingrained into the religious system of Hinduism and many of the techniques found in Yoga are inherently religious, such as the use of chanting beads, mantras, deity statues, and rules of priests involved. However in addition to all of these things there are also specific techniques which are built into yoga which can be used in exclusion or inclusion of the Hindu religious system. Much of the development of magick in the rest of the world has more recently come to include Yoga based technique and practices without referencing Yoga or India as their source.
Amoung the things created in Yoga come the origin of chakras which India possessed much longer than the rest of the magickal world, and the use of mudras, (hand signs) breathing techniques, postures, and of course meditation techniques all of which can be incorporated into meditation.
The majority of this technique is derived from the Kuji Kiri system of meditation although many aspects of these techniques can be found elsewhere. Kuji Kiri is a system of Yoga used to develop and advance psychic abilities using these techniques described above.
Kuji Kiri translates “9 cuts” and each cut is a mudra (or hand sign) designed to cut into the inter-dimensional realm and access the power of each hand sign into your body and mind and use it for self empowerment to acquire psychic ability and strength.
In this particular technique I will be focusing on the techniques taken from the Kuji Kiri system, but not on the mudras used to advance psychic ability. If you are interested in learning more about Kuji Kiri and the advancement of psychic power found through this system I strongly recommend the book “Ninja Power of the Mind” by: Grandmaster Yamachiro Tositora. While Kuji Kiri is not exclusively taught by martial artists this book details the Kuji Kiri system as taught by the Koga Ninjas and is a very practical down to earth guide to learning these skills and techniques.
The 9 cuts (or mudras) used in the Kuji Kiri system all draw on specific parts of the body and using them without proper training and methods can result in literal damage to the parts of the body they draw energy from which can lead to infection, injury, and even death. For this reason these particular mudras or “cuts” which focus on elemental power and the advancement of psychic ability will not be taught online here.
I also recommend using this book instead of looking Kuji Kiri techniques up online, because not all sources teach how to learn these techniques safely and properly and you can do literal physical damage to your body and can literally die by not learning how to practice them properly. There are places you can get PDF file of this book for free or you can buy a copy online on many online stores. Links will not be provided for legal reasons.
I am going to share with you 2 Mudras taken from Buddhism, one of which is included in the book (Zen) but is not harmful if used improperly, the 4-2-4 breathing technique, and appropriate posture for this technique. Breathing technique meditations are easier than the clearing mind meditation in part 2 because your mind is focused on counting your breathing, and because of this some people will find them easier to do. There are no shortcuts in meditation, but these techniques which come from the far East include a couple of tips not commonly found that seem small and subtle but which have a powerful effect on increasing the effectiveness of this particular Yoga technique.

The Yoga Technique

The First Key: Yoga Body Posture

There are several benefits to body posture found in Yoga which are key to mastering this technique. The first key to posture is to have both feet flat on the floor. You may be more comfortable in a different posture, but the aim of this meditation is not comfort but efficiency in channeling energy. Having both feet flat on the floor grounds your personal body energy into the earth increasing the power of this technique. Your feet should not be on a plastic surface which restricts energy, and if you want you can remove your shoes which is helpful but not necessary.
The second key to posture is that you should be sitting up straight. This isn’t a mere formality as it is when a parent tells a child to sit up straight. You have 7 primary chakras in your body and sitting up straight creates a clear and straight pathway for these chakras that is uninhibited from energy flow when you are sitting straight. Two of these chakras are in your head so you should have your head upright and centered and face facing straight forward so there is a clear and connected line of energy in all 7 chakras.
The third key to posture is that you should place your tongue where the roof of your mouth meets the center of the back of your teeth touching your gums. This seemingly obscure detail connects the spiritual circuitry of your body and your brain to each other. Combined with the other details on posture this allows for a complete unrestricted flow of energy connecting your chakras, your body and mind energy, and the power of natural earth energy for a complete flow.

The Second Key: Yoga Breathing Technique

The second key to this technique is to control your breathing. All breathing in should take place through the nose and all breathing out should take place through the mouth. If you have trouble doing this naturally you can close your mouth when breathing in and open it again when breathing out. This particular method of breathing is standard in all breathing technique meditations and helps circulate your energy properly. As a side note it is beneficial to getting in the practice of breathing this way naturally all the time, but for the time being be sure to at least include it when meditating.
Breathing in a specific rhythm affects your spiritual energy. One of the most common breathing techniques which is especially good for beginners and commonly used by those who are adept is the 4-2-4 breathing technique. The book I referenced gives an elaborate method of timing your breathing to synchronize exactly with your heart rate, and this is ideal but for the sake of simplicity and because most people won’t go to the trouble to do that I am going to give some simpler instructions for this technique.
Start by breathing at your natural rate. This is important, because if you start breathing slower than you normally do without slowly reaching the ideal breathing rate your body will be depleted of oxygen and this is at the very least uncomfortable and also sometimes difficult. Your body will want more oxygen than you get breathing at a slower rate and you might find your breathing interrupted as your body demands air faster.
Breath at your normal rate using the 4-2-4 method. This means inhaling for a count of 4, holding your breath for a count of 2 and then exhaling for a count of 4. After the exhale there is no pause or delay and you immediately repeat the cycle starting with breathing in for a count of 4, holding it for a count of 2, and then breathing out for a count of 4 again.

When you first do this time your breathing counts so they are something that feels natural for how you breath and make it consistent. Repeat the entire 4-2-4 cycle at the same exact breathing rate for 3 counts. A count is to do the entire 4-2-4 cycle one time, so three counts is to do it at the same rate three times. Once this is accomplished slow down your breathing just a little bit, retain this same speed for 3 counts. Continue doing this, slowing down your breathing rate every 3 counts of the 4-2-4 cycle.
Ideally you want your rate to be 1 to 2 seconds for every part of the 4-2-4 meaning at one second you take 4 seconds to breath in, 2 seconds to hold your breath, and 4 seconds to breath out again. If possible it’s good get each count at 2 seconds per count as this gets you into a deeper more connected mindstate. This means a count of 4-2-4 would be 8 seconds of breathing in, 4 seconds of holding your breath, and 8 seconds of breathing out. If the 2 seconds for each 4-2-4 count is difficult for you stick with 1 second for the 4-2-4 count or possibly even go slightly slower than that, but not to the full 2 seconds. Remember to transition into slower breathing every 3 counts of the 4-2-4 so your body doesn’t reject the count and try to catch up on getting air.

The Third Key: Yoga Mudras

The final key to success in this technique is the use of mudras (or “hand signs.”) You can use this same technique as taught here with any mudra and as stated previously when the gate opens in the brain the full power of the mudra will be activated within you. Two handed mudras should be used as shown and if you are using one handed mudras it’s good to make the mudra with both hands.
This Buddhist Mudra can be used for balance, stability, peace, and peace of mind:

This Buddhist Mudra (known as Zen, meant to promote Zen consciousness) which is commonly mistaken for some kind of Illuminati symbol, is good for enhancing problem solving or critical thinking and is a good all out mudra to use before tackling any task or goal ahead of you.

This is all the information required to complete this technique. The only thing left to do is try out and apply these techniques, put in the repetition required to get them functioning in a real way, and then see for yourself how helpful and beneficial they are.
Remember that to see results with these techniques, as with any meditation, you need to practice repetition and give them time to achieve a result. I have listed some of the best meditation techniques I know that I think will be most helpful to people, especially targeted to magickians and dark side path people. You can also find additional meditations online and combine things you learn online with these techniques.
I especially recommend finding some mudras or hand signs to use with the Yoga technique I gave with your own research that you feel would benefit you. For those interested in psychic advancement I also recommend that book on Kuji Kiri. Like all meditation techniques they have a price of time and patience, but they yield good results as well. Some people in specific magickal bloodlines and / or who have spent past lives practicing magick and / or spirituality and especially some kinds of otherkin will find the mudras combined with the meditation techniques yielding results for them more quickly, but any person can use and learn from them.
Good things are worth waiting for and for all the reasons I described in part 1 all of these techniques are worth the time and effort you put into them. If you try these techniques I’ve described and put in the time and energy to get them working you will see the results I’ve described and they will benefit you.

Empaths and Emotional Telepathy

Tools for Empaths

I am happy to get your feedback and also to share information that is helpful to fellow empaths. Keep in mind that while reflecting is easier than phasing it can sometimes escelate a situation as it increases the level if emotion in the other person.

A basic guide to Empaths and tools Empaths can use for emotional telepathy

The difference between an empath and an emphatic person is that an emphatic person might be able to tell someone is upset based on social cues or body language but an empath knows this based on feel. Most empaths will actually feel the emotions of people around them, and others will be able to sense their emotions. If someone walks into the room who is suffering from depression with a big smile on their face acting as if nothing is wrong only the empath will know as the waves of sadness flood into them.

Being an empath can be difficult as most empaths are affected by the emotions of people around them and especially the emotions of people who are directly interacting with them. Empaths therefore experience things others do not such as when someone is angry at an empath the empath is likely to feel their anger which can make the experience more unpleasant for them or even prompt them to become angry in a situation where a normal person would not.

Empaths usually appear as benevolent, because they do not experience any kind of pleasure or happiness from harming other people. When a normal person harms others they may take a certain pleasure in hurting an enemy or even find laughter in the comical misfortunes of others that cause them to experience pain or suffering. An empath on the other hand will feel unhappiness or pain if they inflict it emotionally onto another person and therefore will suffer themselves in the very act of causing another person suffering.

When someone makes a particularly stupid mistake that causes a normal person to laugh even if the mistake is painful to said person or even if the laughter itself causes said person unhappiness an empath will not react this way. Laughing at others misfortune is simply not normal to an empath as they experience some of that person's misfortune as their own and for the same reason that person is not laughing at themselves the empath is not laughing.

Being an empath can be difficult and many empaths learn not to be overly open about their status as an empath. Many people do not have the experience of feeling the emotions of people around them and simply do not believe others would have this experience if they and the people they know do not have it. Whether from introspection or projection assumptions are often placed on a person claiming to have this experience such as the idea they think they are special or better than other people somehow or that their attempts to explain the strong emotions they experience are psychological justifications for personal problems they possess.

Being an empath can be difficult until you learn to control your abilities. Many empaths also possess healing abilities and with practice can learn to absorb other people's pain intentionally and be inspired to say something to help them ease their pain. In some cases merely the act of absorbing that person's pain can be therapeutic This sacrifice of "a price of pain" can be used by an empath to heal deep emotional wounds in others.

What needs to be understood about being an empath is that this is technically a psychic ability. Telepathy refers to the ability to use your brain to interact with another person's brain. Emotions are experienced in the brain on the right hemisphere of the cerebral cortex Thoughts are experienced in the brain on the left hemisphere of the cerebral cortex Will is experienced in the corpus callosum interacting with the left and right hemisphere of the cerebral cortex

There are five forms of telepathy. Emotion, mind, will, soul and spirit. Emotional telepathy is what an empath possesses which allows them to sense and usually experience the emotions of people around them. Mental telepathy allows people to perceive the other side of the brain understanding thoughts. Will telepathy is the ability to sense the intentions of others. This form of telepathy is also usually possessed by empaths and it makes us aware when people are lying and to sense malevolent intentions. Soul telepathy is very advanced and very difficult to master as it is the only form of telepathy that while present within the brain exists beyond such and is the ability to communicate with the souls present in other bodies. Spirit telepathy is possessed by all humans and is the ability to communicate with spirits, deities and otherworldly creatures who are naturally telepathic including silent prayers.

Being an empath basically means that you have one of these forms of telepathy which is telepathy of emotion, and normally this also includes telepathy of will. Uncontrolled this can be a large burden as the emotions of others can be overwhelming. Empaths are often introverts simply because being around a large amount of people means an intense variety of emotions that can be difficult to deal with and process as this experience can become overwhelming.

However since being an empath means having emotional telepathy this means that even though most empaths don't know it they can do more than feel the emotions of people around them and with training can learn to choose whether or not to feel the emotions of those around them. Just as a mental telepath can read the thoughts of others this communication also goes both ways and they can also implant thoughts or ideas into people's minds. An empath's emotional telepathy can do the same.

The easiest way to learn to master your emotional telepathic abilities is to focus them on 5 words. Push, pull, reflect, phase, absorb. These five words represent the 5 processes of emotional telepathy.

To push is to push an emotion you are experiencing onto another person. This causes another person to experience the emotion you are feeling. You may do this naturally without realizing it and it can cause a person you love to love you back or a person you are angry at to become angry back at you in times when they wouldn't normally do so.

To pull is to take an emotion another person is experiencing and decrease its intensity in that person by pulling it into yourself. This is useful for healing techniques pulling pain off of people or to calm down someone who is afraid or angry. Be careful pulling energy off of people though as there is a risk that the emotion you are trying to decrease in that person may become focused on you in the process.

To reflect is instead of allowing a person's emotions to be projected on you, you will instead reflect them onto another person right back at them. This can be useful when someone is angry and yelling at you as instead of you becoming angry back their anger increases more and more and they can make a fool of themselves, but can be dangerous as it often causes people to become violent in some situations.

To phase is to let an emotion pass through you without affecting you. This is what normal people do all the time, but is something many empaths are not aware they are able to do. This is harder than reflecting emotions, but in some cases it is more effective in deescalating situations rather than escalating them by reflecting their emotions. By practicing the other words of power and getting some experience with using them in the techniques I will soon describe this particular ability becomes easier to use as a result.

To absorb is simply take emotion and negate it into nothingness, absorbing it into ourselves. This is useful if you are pulling angry, fear, or emotional pain from another person, but you do not want to continue experiencing it yourself. If you want someone to not be afraid without becoming afraid yourself, to calm down someone angry without getting angry back at them or if you want to heal someone whose pain you have pulled onto you then this is the technique you would use.

To simply become aware of these forms of emotional telepathy is the first step for every empath. The second step is learning to apply them. It is important to remember here that while, to most empaths, it seems as if people have been manipulating your emotions your whole life that most people are not aware they are causing these emotions in you simply by interacting with you or being in your physical vicinity. To those people therefore for you to be manipulating their emotions can be perceived as a violation of free will.

There is no path of peace obtained by explaining to others their emotions affect you and how they affect you. The path to inner peace and calm around others whose emotions are intense is to learn the power of emotional telepathy and apply it. It is important not to abuse this power and to remember that while what you are doing is invisible to most people there will be people, including people who are not empaths, who can perceive what you are doing. Some may see see this through psychic perception, mystical power and ability, priestly function and perception given by a deity, communion with spirits around them that might inform them of what they are doing or any number of other means.

Ultimately the path to being at peace even when the emotions of others are chaotic merely requires the phase ability. However before you can master the phase ability you will need to practice using the other abilities and as you gain more awareness and control of these abilities and combine them with proper meditation the phase ability will become easier and easier to employ.

This guide to using abilities is as simple as being aware of them and using simple visualizations to activate them. However these instructions apply to empaths and normal people who are reading this documentation to gain awareness about empaths will find these instructions do not work for them. Emotional telepathy is something you either do or do not have. There are magickal techniques that can be applied to gain the 5 forms of telepathy, but if you do not actively have emotional telepathy these instructions will not work for you.

The first step is to find a way to merge your mind with your emotions. The easiest way to do this is to start visualizing energy as emotion. Emotional energy is contained in the heart chakra, experienced in the right half of the cerebral cortex, and controlled in intensity by the heart organ based on the speed it is beating and moving blood into the brain. These are the three parts of the body that affect emotion, but the heart chakra is the key to the subtle emotional interactions we have with others.

Start by reflecting on your heart chakra which is located in the center of the chest. Remember this location as this is what you will visualize on yourself and on others to connect your emotional interacts with them.

The second step is to choose colours to associate with different emotions. You should choose colours which feel right to you, but for the sake of example I use black for fear and / or malevolence (harmful intent) and red for anger so combining both of those a dark red is hatred. Think carefully about which colours feel right for which emotions. You can always change your mind later if you want, but pick the colours that feel right to start with.

While only empaths have emotional telepathy everyone has the ability to interact with other people and their emotions. Sound and light are both forms of energy carried from our brains through our bodies with sound coming in to the left and right hemispheres of the brain through the ears and light coming through the left and right hemispheres of the brain through the eyes. Our heart chakras interact with each other through the tone of voice in the sound energy and the body language affecting the light energy that reaches the brain interacting with both the mind and the heart hemispheres of the brain at the same time. In this way both sound and light are literally sending the energy of our heart chakras to people we interact with as energy through our words, tone of voice, and body language and gestures

As empaths we can interact our heart chakras without the aid of visual or auditory cues to influence others. At some point sound and light as energy can make it easier to influence others, but ultimately we have the power to alter the emotions of other people with sheer thought and emotion which is activated through the visualizations. This makes empaths different from normal humans who rely on communication methods of sound and light via words and actions and body languages to interact with their emotional energy.

Once an empath has learned the 5 words of power they can focus on the location of their heart chakra and the location of another person's heart chakra and pay attention to the emotions of that person they are feeling. At this point visualize the energy using the colours you have selected. The first step is merely to visualize the energy coming from one person to another as they interact with each other and visualize it coming in and out of you as you feel this energy.

Once your mind has become accustomed to this pattern you will find it is now easier to influence the energies. The amount of time it takes to transition into the next phase may vary from person to person, but the next phase is to focus on the 5 words of power and visualize them.

When you push energy onto another person visualize the colours you have assigned to the energy in your heart chakra and spreading into the other person. Visualize them flowing like smoke from around your body and aura into the other person's aura and body and visualize their heart chakra glowing with the colour of the emotion you intend to influence them with.

For pulling energy it is the same thing except that you visualize the colour of the emotion you want to pull out of them glowing in their heart chakra moving from them and their aura and into yours and your heart chakra glowing with that energy. Visualize their heart chakra slowly glowing less and less with the colour and if it helps you can visualize another colour replacing it as a more appropriate emotion or simply visualize the colour fading from their heart chakra.

For reflecting energy visualize a large sphere surrounding your body. As people interact with you merely visualize that sphere of energy every time they push an emotion in your direction. Visualize the emotion as the colour you have selected like smoke bouncing off of the sphere, and visualize the sphere glowing not completely, but only in part on the direction of the person it is reflecting. As the sphere glows absorbing the energy visualize it bouncing off the sphere and not reaching you directly and going back into the other person.

For phasing energy you merely visualize the energy flowing through you. In this visualization ignore the heart chakra and visualizing their energy flowing towards you in the colour selected like smoke as before, but right before it reaches you visualize it transforming into waves of energy instead of smoke and vibrating so that as the energy reaches you it is negated into nothing.

For absorption you would first follow the steps of visualization to pull energy from someone and then you would visualize that energy flowing through your aura. Take several minutes to focus on the energy and it's colour flowing through your body and your whole aura and then visualize a black hole like shape in your solar plexus chakra, located in the very center of your body and visualize the colour getting pulled into that large hole and absorbed into nothingness.

The third thing which is required to activate these techniques is some form of meditation. Meditation allows control of the mind and the emotion together and since an empath is basically a catalyst of the emotions around them meditation is key to activating these 5 forms of emotional telepathy.

If you check out my guide "The Basics of Meditation" there is a Yoga technique listed as the third technique. The Buddhist hand-sign which is included is a great method for mastering the phasing and absorption techniques. This meditation employs a breathing technique with mystical hand signs called "mudras" and the act of practicing this meditation technique grants you to the power of the mudra. To use the absorption and phase technique you can employ this mudra in addition to the visualizations without having to do the entire meditation at the moment you are activating it.

Both the visualizations and the mudra techniques are temporary processes used to master the art of emotional telepathy. Once you have trained your mind to connect to your emotions using the visualizations and the mudras you will then find you no longer need the visualizations or the mudras to employ emotional telepathy.

It should be noted that like any power this power can be abused. Empaths are often benevolent due to our ability to experience the pain of people we hurt, our power to heal people we care about, and the natural empathy that comes with emotional telepathy. However once you learn to unlock emotional telepathy new factors come into play and ethics need to be considered.

My personal philosophy is to only use empath abilities for self defense, healing and general peace keeping. An empath can deescalate a situation without appearing to do anything and often this is the right thing to do. An empath can defend themselves in ways that are manipulative such as reflecting the anger a person feels back on that person.

When you do this however that person will experience in their brain the same thing they are experiencing when a normal person yells back at them. This experience of feeling all of their negativity and anger reflected back at them will normally involve another person sending sound and light through voice and body language to communicate with their heart chakra. The experience of having an empath reflect your emotions back at you is new for most people. They will act as they would if you were yelling and screaming right back at them in many cases.

This technique can be used defensively in situations where you want that person to seem more out of control than they normally are. You can also use the push technique to push negative emotions onto people and then reflect them back on that person when they interact with you to make them look even more crazy or aggressive than they normally are. This can be a useful manipulation in the presence of an authority figure such as a boss or police officer when you want them to take your side over theirs.

However since their brains will be experiencing the same thing as someone yelling back at them they may create some form of idea in their mind that does not exist to justify their behavior. This is a normal reaction in their mind for trying to explain to themselves why they are experience an abnormal amount of anger the more they direct their anger at you than they ever have in their entire life for any other person who is not responding.

Other manipulations exist such as to project the love you feel for someone onto another person to try to make them feel more love for you than they normally would, to make people afraid of you who otherwise might not be, or to turn someone against someone else through subtle emotional manipulations of emotion at key parts of their conversations with each other.

At these levels of advanced emotional telepathy it is important to establish ethical guidelines. As I mentioned previously other empaths as well as people from all walks of life exist that can sense what you are doing in different ways that will have an understanding you are the manipulator. Even beyond this there are moral implications that should be considered that abusing this power is wrong. For this reason I recommend using emotional telepathy for healing, peace keeping, and for self defense. To use these abilities to try to control others or gain something from them through these manipulations is crossing a line into a moral gray area.
