Salt's ok, just don't use table salt which has been stripped of its' minerals. I use Celtic Salt....it has around 86 trace minerals needed by the body. If your adrenals are stressed, you would need more salt. It also helps my asthma so much, I don't need inhalers....at all!
I take 1/8 of a teaspoon, under my tongue to disolve. You will not taste salt at tip of your tongue and Celtic salt is not as 'salty' tasting. This is followed by drinking down a large glass of water...about 12oz...but I don't measure...some days I need more or less water. Anyway, salt won't build up if you chase with the water, which must be drank immediately after. You can do this through out the day. But very good first thing in morning to rehydrate.
I tend to have very low blood pressure and can get dizzy....so more salt helps with this.
For detox, I use 15 grams of powdered chlorella in large glass of water. Excellent detoxification, including heavy metals. It is so nutritious, theoretically, one could live on it. Also has anti-histamine properties. When taking, I find mixing and letting sit a few minutes, helps it to not clump....you can also do this 1st in morning as that us when body is most toxic. I take my salt under tongue before this drink too.
If taking vitamin C, avoid the vitamin at the time if ingesting chlorella, as vit. C can pull the heavy metals out of the binding process.
Chlorella also lends RNA and DNA.
