astrology in the lives of empaths

astrology in the lives of empaths

Full moons, eclipses, planetary returns and aspects, times of day and night, the seasons, our birth times and places... how do the rhythms of the earth and the cosmos effect us as empaths? What wonderful tools can all of this give us for forging our lives?

Well, 3 is the quintessential magic number in Indo-European cultures. There are those that say that repeating numbers are messages from angels (there's a lot about it in the Library of Inspiration group, I believe) but I don't know much else about it. It's interesting though--your experience certainly sounds like more than coincidence.

Some people have lucky numbers-I think mine come in 3's-especially the number 33. I know masons are big on this number blah blah blah I just don't see what this has to do with me. I always see this number-whether I happen to look at the clock, immediately turn to the 33rd page in a book, it doesn't matter-just shows up a-lot. I can think of someone famous who always sees the number 13 and its lucky for her so she says...she def is doing well in life!

This full moon on March 16th falls on the Pisces-Virgo axis, for those who know a little about astrology. Basically it taps into both Pisces and Virgo traits (It's a full moon in Virgo but it's happening while the Sun is in Pisces). It's beautifully aspected by Saturn, which brings reality to whatever vision/dream quality the full moon may have. It urges us to find balance between the mundane day-to-day routines, physical health, and a need for order (Virgo) and the dreamy, poetic, ethereal realm of Pisces. It's also a romantic full moon benefiting relationships and partnerships, fertility , conception, and reproductive health. I know a couple of women who are due to have babies on this full moon--how very fitting!

Hi Liz, welcome to the group. I don't know much about sidereal astrology, I just never really got into it, so I can't speak to that. However, as for your chart, there is a discussion thread here called Requests for Chart Readings where you can post your info and hopefully someone will respond. Up till now it seems I've been the only person responding to requests (which is too bad, it's a good way for anyone to get some practice!) but I have been swamped lately so it will be a while before I get back to it. But I will eventually! We just seem to be in sort of a dormant phase in this group at the moment...I don't know why, but these phases come and go. Maybe it's because Mercury is retrograde. :)

Hello, recently I found out about sidereal astrology. As someone who had always considered herself an aries, at first I was furious to hear that I was in fact a pisces. But as I looked into it, I found myself identifying with this apparently true sun sign, and understand that my reaction was very piscean indeed. I was wondering if anyone could give me insight into my full chart. I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on april 4th 1994, at 1:44 pm. Thanks & blessings family :)

Wicked! Thank you so much I appreciate the guidence. ^_^ Lol I was reading some of the readings done already and thought to myself of how confusing they were. I didn't see how it was all working...so for the past couple days my brains been itchin to learn. Thank you again!

You know what, since several people have been asking about this, I compiled some links on specific topics in a discussion thread. Happy reading! :)

Ok, you have your toes in the water then. :) There are a couple ways to go I think: the first is to just start googling specific planet/sign placements, such as "Jupiter in Aquarius." Anything on www.cafeastrology.com, www.astro.com, and www.darkstarastrology.com is generally reliable and reasonably detailed. There are lots of other useful bits of info out there of course but I generally take anything I find on a forum of non-experts or on Yahoo Answers with a grain of salt.

The other thing to look at is aspects, the relationships between the planets in a chart, such as "Jupiter square Saturn" or "Sun trine Moon." If you look at the chart you attached, in the bottom left corner you'll see a chart. The column on the far left has the symbol for the Sun at the top, and you'll see other symbols in the boxes of the column. Those are symbols for the aspects. Squares are square aspects, triangles are trines, etc. Wikipedia has pictures of all the symbols I'm pretty sure. Interpreting aspects isn't as simple as A + B = C, but it's a good place to start and gives you a sense of the complexity involved. :)

Well I feel its always good to start with the basics when beginning to learn a subject. Which I probably should do here. All I am familiar with are the zodiac signs and I couldn't tell you much about those except for their elements and their symbols I guess theyre called? Haha yea I think I should start with the basics ^_^ Thank you

You say you've always been fascinated by astrology--do you already know a bit about it, or do you need to start with the very basics?
