Psychic Experiment #22

Psychic and Paranormal

This man has seen horror and pain. I believe he's seen war. Something in his youth/childhood changed him forever. I feel like it's a good change - that his heart was opened, but I'm not sure about that. I feel as though he could have "gone either way" about something and I'm not yet sure which road he took. There is something very profound about him. He didn't have an ordinary life. I keep hearing "broken heart".

I think the glasses are "throwing me" b/c in looking at this I get the feeling of a writer now. I didn't get that at all with the first photo. The first word that came to me was "manifesto". This guy's tricky!

Good distinction Cat. I definitely get American with some kind of Russian/Eastern European connection. Gotta love the hair...

First thing I got was "need for speed". Then I saw a big machine that seemed to have some kind of blade-thingy's on top of it. I felt it had something to do with farming. I also feel Russian or Eastern European. What an intense gaze this man has. I feel like his eyes will help me somehow....

I saw one of theses too. Mine was more green with a slight bluish cast... I categorized it as plasma - while it was clearly defined, about basketball sized, the inside seemed to be moving in a liquid, slowly swirling fashion. Fascinating. It was sitting (I kid you not) on the branch of a tree in the middle of the night when I was delivering papers. The next day I realized that I had been driving along a road that is bordered by a huge cemetery. I've always associated it with a spirit for that reason. Whatever they are, they seem to have consciousness. I sounds like your son is being visited by spirit - maybe an ancestor, spirit guide, guardian angel?

Couldn't' agree more Chuck. The happiness in the outside world is so transient. Even those outside things that make me happy today will lose their charm in a year, a month, a week. I strive (and struggle) to remember that much of the outside is only playing out what's inside... If something needs fixing - that something is always on the inside. If I can feel gratitude (admittedly, not always easy for me), that's when I feel happiest.

That's certainly quite possible - but that's what I remember the "party line" was.... ( She's a Lemur alright - if Lemur means bossy-pants queen bee!)

Hey Julie, To the best of my recollection, it was early 80's. I'm hearing 1984. They did ultimately trace the virus back to primates (baboons or chimps) in a specific place in Africa. I remember that the epidemic in the U.S. was ultimately pinpointed as having begun with a single man who was a steward on one of the major airlines and who was very active sexually in the gay community. I was in my twenties in those days and I remember how panicked everyone was because they really didn't understand how it was spreading for a while and a diagnosis equaled a death sentence.

Jen, I'm with you, I'm getting more and more feelings of sickness and disease. The very first word I got was cancer. I'm feeling she worked with sickness in a big way... This has been really interesting for me to watch this process unfold. I'm beginning to really like this lady! I hope she doesn't turn out to be a chef or a writer of children's books (lol).

Hi all. New to these boards. So happy I found them. Just awesome. I've known I was an empath for a very long time. I remember my amazement and relief when I realized that "there was a name for this" and other people were the same way. Knowledge is power they say and it certainly helped me a great deal to have this understanding but it wasn't enough. As the youngest in a family of tragedy, dysfunction and alcoholism, I eventually made my way to the twelve step world first as a member of ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics) and then CODA (Codependents Anonymous) where I learned how I had mal-adapted in order to survive in my family of origin. Today, I have come a long way and for the past three years I have been working as a counselor in a substance abuse facility (I couldn't' fix my family, so...). Doing this work has taught me two very valuable things: I LOVE working with people on their "issues" and three years is too long for a sensitive to work with this population especially considering the enormous caseloads we work with. For the past year, I've been working on obtaining coaching certification and I hope to work with people on an intuitive level. As a child who experienced the traumatic loss of my sister and father, death and grief have loomed large for virtually my whole life. I recently completed certification in The Grief Recovery Method which I hope to be able to use with people who are stuck in loss. One (there are several) benefit of growing up with dysfunction is that I developed highly tuned sensitivity to the emotions of the people around me. Today I am working on polishing this gift and learning how to close it down. For many years I was just "open" and consequently developed some serious health issues. So like everyone else on this board I am on a journey of healing and growth. Much Love, Patricia

This is interesting. I thought I was done but I keep getting little snippets. So nice to be able to memorialize them. I feel as though she revolutionized some aspect of science or medicine. Putting a human face on something that previously had been strictly scientific. Now I'm getting a humanitarian feel. I hear "changed lives". I also see a pretty fat book. I think she's famous for a groundbreaking book as well as a technique or approach to something. I feel that she is definitely a scientist but also a humanitarian of some ilk.

I just got images of airplanes and airports. Also, a desert-like landscape. I think this is a place she lived or spent time. Dry sandy soil. Ranch feel. I feel like she passed awhile ago. I see some others felt "gay rights" activist or something - that feels right to me too.

First thing I got was cancer. Then I got nuclear. I see her writing papers - scientific studies, I think. I think she regularly "observes" changes in specimens or something like that. I feel a European connection. Germany, Switzerland, Austria. I feel like she is committed to her field to the point of obsession. She may have stumbled on a discovery or uncovered something previously unknown. I feel a younger woman in her life which may be her only personal connection - a daughter energy. I feel that under her "professional demeanor" she has substantial self esteem issues. I feel that she travels and there is an ersatz ambassador vibe but in an unconventional way. That was fun!

So sorry. I went thru this last year with two border collies (both 12). They died six months apart. Each of them gave me a gift as they were leaving. Deirdre gave me one of her "fresh puppy" barks two days after she died (cat heard it too!) The night before he died, Bobby had taken a really bad turn with Liver Cancer and we planned to bring him to the vet next morning (we knew he wouldn't be coming back). He fell into a semi-comatose state right before I was going to bed. Naturally, I got no sleep. About 3:00 AM, I went to check his breathing one last time. Where was he? Sitting upright on the sofa gazing across the room with the most peaceful look of abject fascination on his face! I knew his sister had come for him. In the morning we found he had passed. I'll never forget the look on his face. I ann so grateful for having their love and friendship for so long. Even at the end, they managed to let "mommy" know they were okay. I also lost a coworker last year. She struggled for a year with Melanoma. I miss her terribly. So sorry for your losses.
