Energy - graves/burial sites.

Psychic and Paranormal

Hi everyone.

I was just sitting here thinking about ghostly things and I remembered a couple of strange experiences I've had.

I'm just trying to put two and two together but I don't have enough knowledge on the subject, so I ask for your input.

Many years ago while I was visiting someone, I slept in a bed in a veryold house (which was known to be haunted). During the night I woke to a strange sensation (like movement in the mattress or under the bed). A type of bubbling or gentle waves type feel. I slept in the bed for several nights but only woke to this strange sensation once. I never discovered why (even though I did investigate the mattress and under the bed).

Some years after that when I was visiting another person, I was woken by a very similar sensation (a bit stronger than the first - the wave/movements were more like quiet knocking). It was in a newish home. There was nothing wrong with the bed, flooring etc.

Now - my question is: Is it possible that I was sleeping above a grave/burial site, or is there another explanation?

Have any of you ever experienced anything similar?

How do crystals even work?

Tools for Empaths

Interesting subject.

I have to admit that sometimes I get a little bit uncomfortableat the thought ofus taking tons of precious rocks from the Earth. What if the crystalshave a purposeIN the Earth? What if we are upsetting some fine balance?

What did people use before the wheel was invented? It sometimes seems to be a money making past-time?

I ask the question, how many intelligent, wealthy philanthropists have set up roomsand have people come to them with their various ailments/anxieties etc, and then thepeople with thevarious conditionsare given free crystals to help them? I would suggest that it never, ever happens! Why?

Also, when a crystal has outlived its original purpose, is it given away free (recycled) so that someone else can benefit from its properties?

Don't take this the wrong way. I just get suspicious when people are making money from our Earth's precious resources, and I wonder what they are personally putting back?

Let's assume that Crystals have energy that makes some people feel better. Are we creating an artificial crutch for that person? Does having a crutch make a person stronger, or weaker?

A part of me thinks that the energies/qualities contained in crystals/stones/gems must be diluted by the sheer volume that is being mined. How precious are these preciouscrystals when they are available to everyone at the click of their fingers?

For many years I wore an amethyst ring. I honestly don't know if my life would have been different if I had not worn it.

If people feel that the Crystals are helping them then they probably are. I don't think a non-believer would have the same benefits as a believer because at the end of the day our thoughts are everything.

I don't like us using all the Earths resources for short term selfish reasons, because I think that some dayhumans may need these things, and we will have wasted them. We have only very basic, primitive knowledge regarding things like this.

In summary, take only what youtrulyneed. Just my opinion.

Snakes eating each other and flying in a homemade hot air balloon

Dreams

I like this one!

To me, it feels like you are aware that there is evil in this world, and things that would eat each other to survive. It makes you sick.

You know that you have the resources to rise above it. You have decided to 'go with the flow' and I think (even though you are a little scared) it will work out well for you.

I think it's a great dream.

Psychic and Paranormal

Thank you so much Ecila. That was a great site, and puts a much more positive spin on the visit.

Reading that article makes sense. I do have some changes heading my way.

So interesting that something can appear and disappear like that. Sometimes there just isn't a logical explanation.

^^^ Above - I felt bad after writing that 'I'll be pleased if it stays away 'so I think that my intuition is probably telling me that it won't do me too much harm.

The two small bright white orbs were also interesting. I'd never experienced that before.

Thanks for all your comments.

Psychic and Paranormal

Wow Salansar. We crossed paths then. I was just answering Maria while you were posting.

There is evidence of the Australian aboriginal culture all over Australia. I honestly don't feel that it is related to them, but I definitely will have a look around. I know some places are apparently described as 'bad rocks' but I'm not sure where those places are. I have also heard that tourists who visited Uluru and took home a rock claimed to have bad luck ....and apparently there is a story that the Post Office had a pile of rocks that had been sent back to Uluru from tourists who had souvenired them!! :)

Sometimes we get these interesting, unusual, one-off experiences but that is my first Bat one!

Psychic and Paranormal

That's an interesting site Maria. Thanks. I had toscroll back a few pages because it's been almost a week now (still no sign of the Bat) but I didn't see any UFO activitynear me. There was a sighting in Australia but nowhere near me. My computer was acting up a bit on that site. I did notice a bright light in the sky a few weeks ago but assumed it must have been a planet or something? It looked like a star, just bigger and brighter. I guess I should betaking photos of things when I see them.

I've had therare sighting of spirits in every home I've lived in. This place is no more active than any of the others. From memory,I've hadfive visits here andfour of them were from people I knew. The other one was just lost and confused.

This house is not a creepy house and doesn't have any bad energy. I don't feel that it has anything to do with aboriginal land or anything like that. I don't fear living here but whatever the black winged bat-like thing was ... I'll be pleased if it stays away.

The Queen of England

Dreams

Last night I dreamt I was talking to The Queen. The Queen of England.

We were at some function or other and when she had done her bit she invited me inside. We walked quite quickly along a corridor (like a school corridor) and she went into a room at the end to get changed. I waited and she came out quickly. She was in casual clothes and about 40ish with fair hair (but it was still the same person).

Her minders were lurking around and she seemed bored and tired with it all. She made some small talk with someone else. I made ajoking sort ofcomment about Tasmania and funnel web spiders in Sydney. We seemed to have an understanding. She seemed to have empathy and a good soul.

I wonder why she was on my mind. I wonder if we are going to lose her or someone close to her? It was interesting to see her younger and more relaxed.

Any thoughts?

A Bat ....or something else?

Psychic and Paranormal

A few nights ago I woke to a rustling, scratchysound. I immediatelythought mouse or rat (it sounded bigger than a mouse) but thought I had better turn the light on in case it was a snake or possum or something else.

When I turned the light on I could see something black sticking out from behind the curtain. It looked like a bat wing. The color was pitch black. Then it dropped to the floor and I pulled the blanket over my head. I heard it flying around and around.

It did this twice and then the noise stopped. I assumed it had left the room so I closed the door. I noticed two small bright white orb type lights goingon and offin two separate corners of the room. Like slowintermittent pulsating lights.

I decided to put the bat outside when it was asleep the next day. I could not find it anywhere. I still can't find it. It has notstarted flying around the house again on following nights as I would expect a bat to do.

Now I'm left wondering if it was a bat or something else, and I wonder if the two orbs of light were some type ofprotection.

Very weird.

The smell of death, disease, and cancer.

Empath

Hi everyone,

I'll just blurt this one straight out.

Do any of you think that you might be able to smell disease, death and/or cancer?

I think science is just scratching the surface regarding this issue. Dogs (maybe cats also) that can apparently sniff out cancer, and Doctors and Scientists trying to replicate the dogs senses? Possibly some early work being done with breath samples and ovarian cancer detection?

I have heard people on here say that they can sense death, but are there 'physical' reasons why they can do this?

I've had a couple of experiences recently that make me think that some of us may be able to 'smell'illnesses, and after doing some googling, this appears to possibly be the case?

I personally think that I know someone with the smell of death, and I believe another person I know may have undiagnosed cancer? A subtle odour(bitter/toxic?) that seems to come from the pores of the skin? I'm not talking about BO.

Some older diseases (like rheumatic fever) had their own odour. Diabetes and a few others do too.

I'm more interested in the ones that aren't discussed. Does this ring a bell with any of you? I'd love to hear of your experiences.

This is the interenet - how can you make it exclusively male if you don't actually know what sex people are?

What about the one in 500 males who are XXY? Are they excluded?

As this is the WWW, are there any countries where this might be illegal (to exclude people based on their sex)?

I understand your reasons, butwould this bea step forward, or a step backwards?

Just a few things to consider.

Hi Indigo (great name).

I'm sure it isn't that no-one wants to help you.

I have thought about your question, and I have no idea what the person meant. They should have explained themselves more clearly. It's impossible for us to tell you what someone else meant. Also, just because someone says something, doesn't mean that you have to believe it.

A lot of people have gone their whole lives without a mentor. The best person to help you is YOU.

My suggestion would be that you do your own research.Follow your heart and your intuition, and whenever you come across something you don't understand, please justASK. I ask questions all the time.

Have a look at the different Groups, and try and and ask your question in a relevant Group. Example, if you don't understand a dream, there is a dream group etc.

You'll be okay. :)

I thinkthat one problem might be because the name does not match the person?

Certain names have a certain energy, and if the energy doesn't match the name, then it makes it harder to remember?

Example a hard name on a soft person, or a soft name on a hard person? There are strong names and weird names and peaceful names. All nameshave different energy.

Loud, proud, annoying atheists get on my goat! They act as if they have superior intellects. They ridicule the beliefs of others. In general they are rude, dismissive and very annoying. I know I'm being judgemental, but I think it's because they act as if they have the right to judge others. Sometimes it's as if they are on a mission to rid the world of believing in anything? Maybe this should be on the venting page? Lately I have noticed so many atheists throwing their weight around. They are aggressive and demand proof of everything. JMO of course.

I'm a bit of a freak. I don't tell lies. I have no reason to. Even as a kid I never lied. I'm really trying hard to make sure that's not a lie, as I say it. hehe.

I wonder if there is a genetic component to this, or if it s a learned trait?

Lyingdoesn't seem a very smart thing to do really, and what's the point?

What are the benefits?

If I give someone a compliment, it is honest.

It can be irksome listening to people lie, (bull$h1t their heads off) but I look at it this way -it's their problem, not mine. To me it seems like they are muddying their souls for no good reason. If it's blatant, I might say "yer yer stop bull$h1t1ng."

Having said that, I don't always blab everything I know. Some might consider that lying by omission, but I don't, especially if I feel that I'm keeping my mouth shut to save someone from hurt, orfor the greater good.

Lying, dishonesty, deceitfulness. There are many forms, and varying degrees. We just need to be able to live with our own consciences really... and when it comes to consciences, some people are sadly lacking.

Zodiac Signs of the characters in Alice in Wonderland

New Age

It's probably over thirty years ago that I read Sun-signs (Linda Goodman IIRC?).

I have this very large book called"the secret language of relationships". Your complete personal guide to any relationship with anyone. Gary Goldschneider."The book breaksastrological signs down into weeks, and gives a description ofeach particular relationship.

Example: May 19-24 (the cusp of energy) and June11-18 (the week of the seeker) Psychic gifts.

Unsatisfied with the mundane here and now, this relationship seeks to go beyond it and to achieve an original, even unique orientation. While both parties will insist on their independence, they may also find each other mutually fascinating, and so will feel the need to see each other more than occasionally. Such meetings are often highly private ones, in which what transpires is rarely public or even retold, except in the form of tantalising gossip. The relationships focus is fire, denoting intuition or warmth, creativity and joy.

(That's only about a quarter of the description.)

Yell out if you want me to look up any dates for you.

It can be any relationship- spouse, child, boss.

And it might also be a good idea not to say who the dates belong to - and just report back on the accuracy.

People are always wanting to borrow this book from me. It's a bit of fun.
