Chakra work

Empath

@cheshire-cat if you see the chakra as gaseous, maybe with slender strings of light, thats the actual default view of them. This is how I see them too when I look at them. In fact in a delta state, its how I see them with my eyes open as well. So your eyes and vision did not deceive you, is what I'm trying to say. To clarify, spinning is more often felt than seen. When I check my chakra with body awareness, I often feel them spinning. You might also feel it pulsating or as a second or third beating heart. Its possible sometimes you will hear spinning or pulsating. The main thing is that the information conveys that they are active and energized.
One fun ability to have is to see chakras as lotus blossoms. I woke up one day to see a lotus blossom on my forehead right between my eyes. I was shocked. I asked my wife if she saw it and she said she didn't, though later she did gain the ability, briefly. So while I had that ability, I walked around and saw that people have blossoms in various places, like their shoulders, plam if their hands, on their hips. Few people have blossom on their foreheads and even fewer have blossoms on top if their heads. Most people however have small buds where the chakras should be. So that was a fun experience, it lasted a few days and after that I got back to seeing chakras as semi translucent balls of gas.
There was an event however, when I was in deep meditation and suddenly my vision was filled with this view of a huge rotating disc. The funny thing was that it was rotating in both directions at once, so I don't even know how to explain that. There were symbols on the disc and tentacles of light were coming out of it. So the thought came to me, perhaps this is why they named it a wheel, because in that moment it did very much seem like a huge, gigantic wheel.

Chakra work

Empath

@chesire-cat, I can understand the confusion for it seems the articles use tge same terminology for different things.
Opening, can mean opening like a lotus blossom, or to activate or energize the chakras. However, it seems it is also used to mean making the size of the chakras larger. These are different things entirely.
A spinning chakra is a healthy chakra, so in this sense we might prefer to keep them activated always.
A large chakra can lead to sensory overload, so in this sense we want to adjust the size of the chakra to suit our needs. So if open means larger, then larger is not always better and making it small might be better in some situations.
Where open means activated, activated is better. Where open means energized, keeping them energized within range of each other is usually best.
Hope that helps clear the confusion.

Chakra work

Empath

Great topic!!
Lots of info here, enjoyed reading this.

@crystalsage that sounds very sensible to work on them one by one.
When you work on them you may find interesting characteristics, and that certain chakras also affect other ones.
For instance, the solar plexus chakra I have found should be balanced with the throat chakra. So overworking the throat chakra could unbalance the solar plexus. Fortunately in real life circumstances these two work hand in hand. For instance a negotiator, will need to express his point of view and exert influence. Concerning the solar plexus itself, I agree very much with what Erin said, that it should be shielded. One particular method I have found affective is to make the energies in the solar plexus more dense. Simply imaginingvthe energies becoming dense and slightly solid should do the trick. You would also feel your upper abs becoming more solid. Experiment with to find what is comfortable for you., some people like it very hard, some people prefer it firm, yet slightly liquid. Doing this has some nice effects, you will be more influential, your solar plexus is more immune to outside influence and your willpower increases. Making the solar plexus too dense will have the effect of some headaches, backaches and neck aches indicating that the upper chakras aren't able to handle the increased energy. So, just be aware of that and adjust to suit your system.

Developing up to the solar plexus, I have found is more effective working on the sacral. A well develop sacral mean you tend to enjoy thimgs more, meaning you also appreciate them more. Working on the sacral tends to have positive effects on the solar plexus, so initially, you don't need to work on the solar plexus as much as you do the sacral.
The root chakra usually doesn't need much work. Though what would neex work are chakras on the lower body: feet, legs and thighs. Working on the lower body is actually working on the root, just with mire finesse. The knees are where blockages often occur, releasing blockage there can have a dramatic effect on the effectiveness of the root chakra. The health if the root and lower chakra also tend to influence how easy it is to ground.
The hand chakras, I feel deserve some mention too. These can easily be developed by energy work and is really effective combined with the geart chakra to stimulate or clean any chakra. Developing the hand chakras dramatically influences energy work, even though you just use your mind. In fact, the third eye, which is the most easily blocked can be easily cleared with a few swiped of the hand. In fact prior to a session, I would recommend cleaning the hands, heart, third eye and feet.
If gou want you could experiment applying oil to your hands and feet. I find its easier to feel and control the flow of energy after applying oil. Black seed oil applied on my feet tends to make it ultra sensitive, and usually can't stand more than 10 minutes after applying. Olive oil on the other hand, helps make energies feel denser, smoother, more noticable while not making you too sensitive. With olive oil, you can go for hours and hours.

So good luck, may you successfully establish a long term routine and achieve all your goals.

I few questions on two different nightmares

Dreams

Hi @warden.
In the second dream, your dad is in the kitchen and he's cooking dogs, as in hotdogs. However, the dream tries to convey more information, so these dogs had to be basset hounds like the cartoon character droopy. If we put all this information together we see that your dad is cooking something up, he's cooking hotdogs, which can mean street food bht more precisely fast food, and the hotdogs happen to be snoopy or basset hounds, there are also two of them so whatever he's cooking up refers to the relationships aspect of his life. This picture, in short, tells us that he's probably made some plans (cooking) about a relationship(2s) or relationships and he's feeling pretty laid back or confident (snoopy) about it. What fits this the most is his plan for you and your brothers to live with him and your stepmom. So this part of the dream reflects how he feels about that.
The dream tells us also that everyone except you were swallowed, so that fits where your step-mom singled you out: she accepted everyone but you.
I grew up with my real family, but somehow I always felt singled-out. Actually, I was singled-out, but I believe the reason was so I could learn to deal with loneliness. I think most empaths would have to deal with that particular feeling at one point. Fortunately, loneliness can be solitude, and solitude is beautiful.
As for others sharing the same dream, that happens a lot actually. Usually, most people are unaware that they share the same dreams, mostly because most people don't remember their dreams. It doesn't happen all the time, but its also not uncommon.

Posession as an empath

Psychic and Paranormal

I would definitely agree, this book should be part of the toolset of anyone dealing with entities, especially empaths. Mr Bruce dispenses information acquired over years of experience, which is why his techniques are practical, effective and easy to learn.
Definitely a must read for an empath.
While on the subject of Robert Bruce, I do recommend checking out his free energy primer course:
https://astraldynamics.com/primer/
The course teaches simple practices to feel and move energy, being adept at this really helps keep your energy balanced and clearing out outside influences.

So, just a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Bruce in any way other than I have read his books, found them useful, in fact integral to my 'survival', hehe, and hope it will help you as much as it did me.

Empath children

Empath

I agree with most (perhaps all) of what @hop-daddy said about babies.

The beautiful thing about babies is that they are so pure, without the energy blockages of adults. Some blockages with occur in due time of course, due to genetics, karma (life lessons) and sources.
When we talk about babies and spirits, it good to note that there are benevolent spirits as well as malicious ones. So ideally we want the babies to be surrounded by benevolent spirits, if possible, all the time.
@spiritualskies there is no need to worry about the babies adapting as they grow up. Benevolent spirits are highly, highly intelligent, wise and responsible.
Some of the better benefits of having benevolent spirits is that the children grow up calm, composed and confident and they usually magically gain talents and abilities.
For instance when my son was around 5 years old, I felt a cheery, happy presence near him. We went to visit my sister in law and she had a piano. There was a book with musical notes near the piano and my son proceeded to sit down and play a whole song to completion. He played it absolutely beautifully, it was captivating and it was the first time he ever touched a real piano. My wife and her sister were shocked, and we never really got him to play the piano much after that, but it was a pleasant kind of shock, and I hope that he will always make friends with the right spirits. This is only one example and I am sure others have more stories to share.
So I'm saying it wouldn't hurt, in fact I would recommend, to set positive expectations, try see if you can attract the right kinds of friends and helpers for your child.

Still as they grow up, they will acquaint with the bad as well as the good, but it helps to remember that bad isn't actually bad. They are just spirits in need, asking of us, whereas the good are spirits coming to give, so in a way, it's all good. There is a balance of give and take, but just notice that it is not of equal proportion, what is asked for is usually repaid with a much larger gift.

My cats been attached at my hip lately

Animal Empaths

This often happens when your own consciousness is raised a notch. If through practice or parhaps grace, your consciousness is raised, people and pets close to you tend to also become more aware.
Because of the love connection between you, your cat shares your vibrations. It will get even more intelligent after this, I'm sure.
There is a quote, that I forgot who from, but I think is apt here:
"Love something enough and it will eventually talk to you."

I few questions on two different nightmares

Dreams

Hi there, I believe the second one isn't really dream, it sounds to me more like a certain location in a different dimension. It's actually like a kind of background, canvas space, think of it like the empty canvas of a painting. So these things happen to people sometime, not sure why, but if you ever get taken back there, try to see if there's a spot where the white light turns to water. Looking into the spot where light turns to water could be interesting. The first dream seems heavy with personal symbols. Still the back yard being bigger and with a steep hill seems to be the first point of the message. It seems to say that behind the scenes, there is something bigger going on. The snake is swallowing, and it seems here swallow is the key point. To swallow is to engulf, and can also mean to accept. Like when people say 'he swallowed it whole'. The fact that it was a snake doesn't feel significant, it feels like it would have more or less the same meaning if it was say a turkey that swallowed your brother. So swallowing is the second point. Interestingly, your father is in the kitchen, the place where people cook things up. He's laid back with his turn tables, so he's taking it cool. The basset hounds give it away, that's droopy. That there's 2 of them point out that he's confident about his relationship.  So here, he seems very satisfied and comfortable with what he's planned and got into action. Confident and comfortable being the third point here. So the dream feels more like a interpretation for the subconscious inner child, not one of those prophetic dreams. It feels that its purpose was to bring forward the issues you felt at the time. Now I'm not sure hoe it went, but perhaps your step mom had no trouble accepting your brothers and father, but maybe felt anxious about how to proceed in her relationship with you? Usually in relationships between adult and children, its the worries and anxieties of adults that influence the relationship more. So perhaps thats what the dream was trying to tell you, that your step mom had worries about being a good mom to you, and probably feared you would distance yourself from her.

Thinking about people

Empath

@tigerlily yes you're absolutely right. If you keep thinking about somebody, most probably they are thinking about you. This effect is well known in mystic circles.
Depending on the type of thoughts, sometimes you want to counter it or encourage it or perhaps have it dissipate.
To have it dissipate, just acknowledge it and let it go.
To counter, for instance, thoughts of discontent, indicating the other party might be feeling discontent, simply acknowledge and accept, then transmute by asking forgiveness in general and then think some thoughts of appreciation. You don't have to appreciate the particular person, just appreciating the weather, sunlight, day, etc is enough.
To encourage, feel and absorb tbe thoughts and intensify the emotions. If you add in a feeling of expecting communication, then a phone call may come soon, especially handy if you want a special person to call, but don't want to seem too eager.

Empath children

Empath

@hop-daddy you're spot on with that theory. Family, love and compassion are the main lessons of this realm. Family is the structure, and how someone is with their family represents their spiritual development. The family structure is present in physical families, spirit families and perhaps just as important the relationship with Higher Selves, and temporal selves. In fact, the family is the most important structure, the very structure that holds together our very existence.
To be honest, recently I have been quite dismayed with people's obsession to cut cords and severe relationships. This does deep damage to the structure and is cause of many harms even calamities.
Still there is much hope, for there is much power in family structures. Members of a family share energies, abilities, and to a degree, life lessons (karma). For instance a father who is secure and comfortable facing unknown things could radiate that feeling of security to a family member. The key here is in the use of breath. Breath holds many secrets, and connects the many dimensions of the human being. It also connects people with other people, especially those of the same spiritual or genetic lineage. Through breath, a father can attune family members so they can acquire skills that he has developed over the years. Other family members can also share their development. This structure allows families to work as a team, taking advantage of each others strengths and complementing any weakness. My observation has been that the core families are always enough to create a team sufficient to fulfill the mission of each member. One thing to note is that when a member of a unit develops, other members will tend to follow. Sometimes energy leakages can occur because of the sudden rise of vibrations, so that's something to be careful of. Make sure every member has sufficient development.
This is a problem I sometimes face, and it's less fun playing the reluctant healer, especially when I know it was my misjudgement which caused it. So for smooth overall progression strategies should be developed, where each member can focus on the lessons they're most suited to, and simply transmit the result to other members.
If you don't mind, I want to touch a bit about ear chakras. Physical ears are the source of balance, and likewise the ear chakras are important for balance. Ears are also good at absorbing vibrations (skills) and revealing secrets. There are many ways to develop the ear chakras, but perhaps one of the most effective is to listen to your own voice. With practice you will hear a voice inside you, and when you hear it, you will know who it is. It will feel familiar, like the voice of a close relative, only its you.

Dream about telekinesis

Dreams

Interesting article @hop-daddy, especially the part about Larry Page.

Larry isn't the only one who recieves inspiration through dreams, of course. Many people who go on to change the world are often driven by dreams, dreams that are vivid and compelling enough to become their driving passion. Sometimes it makes you wonder, who is sending out these dreams.
There's the saying "Life is a dream, and to live life you got to keep dreaming", I think that's from Jim Rohn.

I wonder if anyone here has experience with lucid dreaming. I have heard that lucid dreaming allows one to have greater control on how they design their life, better awareness in their dream state and outside, in the waking world. I have heard that if they are able to be consciously aware in their dream state, they also become increasingly aware in their waking state.

Ruthless Energy Vampires

Tools for Empaths

Some great advice there. It just goes to show that God didn't make us slfully self-sufficient because god wants us to inter-depend on each other, serve each other. I hope I can still contribute a bit here, hehe.

First of all, experiment. All skills can be developed, but some skills are more natural to us than others. Explore various skills and choose 1 or 2 that feels good to you, that you can be expert at.

Personally, my favorite 2 skills are Ho'oponopono, which is a forgiveness prayer, and energy transmutation.

Ho'oponopono is very simple, yet after years of practice is extremely powerful. Well developed, it allows you to go through extreme situations that seemingly can't be saved, and then clean it in a total 180 degree turn. It's prayers, and feeling connected to God, that's it. The key is the connected part, for the more connected you feel, the more effective the prayer. Fortunately and the more frequent you "clean", the more connected you will feel. So, that's one example, a passive skill with a compounding effect over time = a good investment.

The other item I mentioned,  energy transmutation can get somewhat more complex and requires development over various dimensions. A skill like this is an active skill and requires active development: monitoring, review and calibration. Still, one aspect of transmutation that is easily within reach, is to transmute the meanings of event. We all know we can't change actual history , but it's not the actual history that will effect us, but what it means to us on a personal level that affects us. Perhaps there is an event where something happened and you took it to mean that perhaps you were not strong enough or maybe not assertive enough. Well here, just replay this event in your mind, slowly and as relaxed as you can. Do not react to any emotional nudgings, then after playing through it once, ask yourself "what other, better meaning can I attach to this?" Perhaps you can say you were going through a learning phase, or that your early expectations of people did not take into account how unbalanced people could be, well because we were all taught to think well of others. But now, you have grown, you have gained experience, and you know you are better equipped to deal with such situations in tbe future. In othe word, the event means, that you were learning, now you are better, stronger and more aware. For some people, when they exchange the meaning of a past event, there can be the sensation of a burden lifting, some even feel balls of energy leaving their body. If you feel something like that, its a good sign, though the most important sign is that you can breath easier.

Other aspects that can be transmuted are expectations and reactions. These determine the direction of energy, though it might take time to build up conviction for this kind of transmutation. So, in this regards, transmuting meanings is more accesible in the sense that anyone can do it.

To grow, spiritually or otherwise, is essential for a sense of fulfillment. Growing gives life meaning. When we grow, we become the person we want to be, and thus are able to live the life we want to live. This is why, for the observant, we should always ask "what lesson is there for me". To understand a life-lesson is the proper way to reach your next stage in life. Not grasping a lesson sufficiently is where life starts to go around in circles. So if there are recurring unpleasant events, always dig deeper, and ask "what is it that God wants me to notice / understand?" and be open to answers.

So that's an example of two skills I chose to develop after experimenting, one is passive and one is active, they work well together and are dependable in most circumstances.

You too might find it a good idea to have onr or two highly developed skills that you can depend on before having to open up the whole toolkit.

So,  thanks for reading, may your awareness increase rapidly, kay your fortitude develop swiftly, and may you feel the joy of taking control if your life.

P.S: who you obtain skills from will influence how effective a skill is. Sitting down with a master practitioner is a great shortcut to developing a skill. You can gain years even decades of development simply by attuning to their vibrations. So if you see someone with a particular skill you might fancy, mingle with them, and they might let you absorb it.

Dream about telekinesis

Dreams

@crystalsage

This is actually a pretty good dream. It does have good meaning, and I do believe you will see some positive effects soon.

First off, the boy. For everyone, there's levels of masculine and feminine selves. The boy would represent your one of your masculine selves which is just above your normal waking self. Being a child shows that it is still somewhere in your subconscious. That you came from jupiter is a very good sign and clearly fits the sage part of your name. I admit I have been pondering about your name, and am fascinated that this dream you share, well, lays it bare.
Police are enforcers of law or rules. Law can help bring order, though laws can sometimes bring oppression. Trees: some of the thoughts that humans project become trees in other planes of existence. Pulling trees out of the ground and clearing away police cars, could very well mean that you will focus your thoughts and question age old beliefs, thus liberating your mind to better understand guiding messages. You will possibly also let go of old identities.
Consider, core beliefs usually act as filters that filter the messages being channeled to us. Initially, this is a survival thing, though much of the shaping of these beliefs is also from our environment, upbringing and genetics. Having core beliefs is essential, just that once in a while core beliefs need to be shaken up and reshapened. The reshapening of core beliefs, to be based on experiential knowledge, will allow much clearer messages from guides and higher selves. Since you have already had this dream, I believe the process is already under way.

Your dream also seems to say that initially it will be hard for you to understand these messages and you will unconsciously try to avoid them. There's nothing wrong in that, so just relax. Think of it as your system trying to adapt slowly to the otherwise shocking change. There will be some resistance, that is natural. Just have patience and faith that eventually the new 'language' will be comprehensible to you. Think of it like opening your eyes for the first time after surgery. It will be blurry, and slightly painful at first, but after some time you will regain clear vision.

So, I hope the next step of the journey, will be exciting for you, for it sure sounds exciting to me.

Keep the love flowing.

Jovian The Stage Master

Tools for Empaths

@spiritualskies, I'm glad you resonate with it. In a way, this is for you.
Jovian is a semi fictional character based on the energies I observed recently. Semi fictional because Jovian is also partly based on an empath I met some time ago.

Perhaps, at times, we each have experienced being Jovian, and I thought that perhaps solidifying the idea of Jovian into a character would better help those energies take form.

Each person who reads and aspires will lend energy to this thoughtform, which I hope can eventually grow to be a helper for fellow empaths.

Thanks for your questions.

ManWhoWasFound:
Quote: Now if you don't mind, I would like to entertain people who are more advanced in their journey, and facing more difficult challenges.

I do not mind. I appreciate your effort in this conversation altough I do not necessarily agree with you on everything.

Thank you very much. Your ability to disagree is what I respect about you. You are a skeptic and skeptics can eventually become highly insightful.
To have differing opinions is one of those beautiful things about relationships. It is like a bunch of people getting together to play music. If everyone played the same instruments with the same tunes, it would be very bland indeed. But if each player played their own instruments and harmonized their tunes, it could possibly be a very captivating, beautiful piece.
Tolerance is needed with genius. When a seed is planted, it is hard to know how the plant will eventually be, or even what plant it might be. As it sprouts and grows through the first few delicate weeks, great care is taken and and joy is felt at the smallest signs. Yet it grows, and it becomes strong, no longer small or frail, but tall and proud, guardian of those below it, provider of shade fruit and habitation. On some planes of existence scholars are represented by as plant brings, even trees. Perhaps you have come across these being in your ayahuasca travels? Still my point is you have the signs that you can be one of them. Have pride with your skepticism, but remember it is a sharp tool, to be used wisely, and wisdom requires experience.

Never stop growing Mr Man
And may you discover your genius

@crystalsage I do apologise for my bluntness, but this IS a dance for our friend ManWhoIsFound. Mr Man is not quick to anger due to his being top heavy energy wise, though as he has set out in the title, he is trying to understand the relationship he just had. Some emotional nudging would be needed for this. This would be a long process of course, but we can pack him with some supplies for his journey, for that is what a place like this is, an R&R for empaths and others alike. Eventually, he will take all these energies on his (possible) Ayahuasca journey, and it can possibly be of some utility to him.
So, we never blame a seed for not baring fruit, it is what it is. Much like we never blame a tree for creating shade, it is what it is. The seed is the tree.

Finally, for some peace of mind. No one is attacking anyone, so feel safe. The energies moved in such a way as to facilitate Mr Man's needs. He is seeking and to seek, his energies will scrutinize sharply. This process tends to move energies here and there. We are all dancers to the music.
You can take advantage of this by using these energies to stimulate certain parts of your own energy that perhaps you feel need more stimulation.
So yeah, we are merely mixing and harmonizing, perhaps mire intense than usual, hehe.

Jovian The Stage Master

Tools for Empaths

Hi there.

Jovian is an average male guy, and like average male guys, he loves to hang out with his friends. But there is something about Jovian that never fails to attract various kinds of people towards him. For you see, Jovian is an attractor of personalities, a magnet set to a high degree, and he thoroughly enjoys the engagements he experiences, Monday to Sundays.

Jovian is an empath, and these scenarios are not typical for empaths. But Jovian is not a normal empath. Jovian is an aware empath, an empath who lives life conscientiously and with great, yet natural attention. Jovian is what some would call an evolved empath.

In order for Jovian to enjoy his day to day socializing, Jovian makes sure of one thing. He makes sure to ask himself, "What does this person want to feel." For Jovian, as an empath, it is very natural for him to feel what others feel. It is very unnatural for him to distance himself from others, he does not feel as alive as he would want to by doing so. And thus Jovian realized, that if he wanted to feel good, it was as easy as making others feel good.

The-Meaning-of-life.jpg

And so it has become a natural habit for Jovian. On his first scan, he would ask himself, "What does this person want to feel." By merely asking himself this question, his empath support system comes up with a plan of action, and he proceeds to influence his audience. People enjoy his company and Jovian always looks forward to meeting people.

True, large, excited crowds can still shock his systems, but he deals with it step by step, day by day, getting better everyday. And he does it by taking simple easy steps, using his strengths to strengthen his weaknesses. He builds strategic relationships,  aware that the people coming to him have something to offer him as much as he has something to offer them. He absorbs energy empathically where he realizes he needs help the most, yet he is prepared to provided the energies that others desire from him. Jovian is open, yet open in a structured, controlled way.

Jovian is not only the architect of his life, he is also the helper that helps lend structure to the lives of his friends and family. It is at those moments that Jovian realizes the meaning of the words = "The Meaning of Life is to Find Your Gift. The Purpose of Life is to Give it Away."

Jovian realized his uniqueness is a gift and he embraced it. He developed it and he made it available to the world, starting with those closest to him. Every human being is unique, with his or her own gift, whoever they might be and what ever identity they might hold. To allow these stories to unfold brings much beauty to life and allows enjoyment of a life fulfilled.

Thanks for reading.

@manwhoisfound, the nickname change, though seemingly small, on an energetic level is profound.
I for one won't bother with most self-help books, they have the wrong kind of energies and are written by people still trying to find their own path. Most are rambling of concepts they find here and there, amusing curiosities at most. Rather, go experience the reality of Reality for yourself.
Not to nag, but how long are you going limit your experience of life on the images and ideologies that people enforce on you.
I (para) quote Rumi: "You do not need to seek love, you merely have to find and tear down the barriers that prevent you from seeing love."
With all due respect, to say that love is something learnt from others means that you know nothing of love, and yet you feel that you do? Do you or are you merely working with images other people have handed to you? I think that deserves some thought.
Now then, I am not going to say something like everything happens for a reason, for obviously that is not helpful for you. But I will say that it is prudent to make the most of what you have, before you go out seeking. I mean, why go out to buy bandages when you have a fully stocked first aid kit at home?

So here I will share something about energies, so perhaps some slight understanding will help tame the monkey mind.

Energies are of many levels of density or subtlety. Dense energies move slowly and feel heavy. Subtle energies are fleeting and light.
Solid physical mass are dense energies made out of no-thing. Magnetic energies are less dense and would be on a level above this. Ethereal energies are more subtle still. Above this you may find emotional energies, these are the energies situated in such a position that it greatly influences the energies above and below. Mastering these would be beneficial to anyone. Above these you have energies of imagination, kinesthetic being heavy, visual light. Above these you have beliefs. Higher still, you have various levels of mental energies. Somewhere above those is the Karmic layer, or layer of Duality. Beyond that is a limitless expanse of ether and beyond that, Light.
These energies interact with each other much like the layer of our atmosphere interact with themselves. Let look at thoughts. Thoughts repeated persistently will eventually gather, become dense and form beliefs. If you have gathered enough beliefs, then you can expect that Light won't flow through cleanly. Light will be distorted. This would represented by a blocked sixth chakra, a blind third eye.
These mental energies can influence, yet more often are influenced by expressive energies of the imagination. With enough wirk on your imagination, you can motivate your emotions, and once this is achieved, most of the 'lower'energies start to follow suit.
This is what they mean when they say as above so below, people said that,
not me, for I am of course Hermes, traveller of boundaries (jk, just having fun, sorry couldn't resist)
So, apologies for the long explanation. But I want to to understand that I can tell you many things for months on end about this subject, but they convey only a very small fraction of what you will understand once you experience it for yourself. I can write you poems about an Apple, but it will never compare to your experience of Tasting an apple.

My suggestion: taste Love before you make your assumptions.

So finally, about your relationship, which I have delayed talking about thus far. You deserve your satisfaction. You are right, she is a Narcissist, and you are right to leave her, for it does not feel like it is your path to compassion to deal with narcissists. I feel that you are not an empath in the truest sense, but your are empathic. A seeker, is what I feel about you, and I know this from the sudden increase of curiosity I am experiencing. Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying these energies very much, and I thank you for the experience.
I will not clean anything about you, for your story is very intricate and has a very delicate balance, as you can deduct from the experience you shared. So, best immerse yourself in your story (perhaps through Ayahuasca). Just be wary of karmic roundabouts, though it seems you have enough intuition for that not to be a problem.

Until later Mr Man.

P.S: once again, love your nick, clearly, you are a man of action.

@spiritualskies great post. I do believe you have a well developed sixth chakra, as evident from the depth of the insights you share. I think I relate to your experience very much, though you do bring a rather fresh perspective to the whole aspect.
It does sound right when you say they absorb the karmic energy. That would then connect them on the karmic level. Thus as the person absorbing the karma transmute it's energies, the person connected will also experience a transmutation of karma. In other words, a change of luck. In a way, it lends explanation to a subject I find deeply fascinating: the workings of grace. Grace is mysterious, yet without a doubt stunningly beautiful. Please excuse me, I should contemplate more on this.

Once again, great insight 👍

Can you help me to understand my failed relationship

Empath

@manwhoislost first of all, seriously, change your name, if you know you're lost, then you're not really lost. People who are lost always insist they're on the right track, even after it's evidently clear they're not. What you are sir, is a wayfarer. You know you want to get somewhere, you don't know where yet, and you don't know how. But you do know you need to move. That, sir, makes you one step ahead of the pack.
I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story. Going through an experience like that really makes someone say to themselves, that there must be some meaning to this, and that there must be sone great purpose. Sadly, there is no great meaning to life nor is the any great absolute perpose. Life is a sandbox. Uou make it what you want. Though there are some common basic choices: you can live life without meaning or choose to live life in a meaningful way. Likewise, you can live life without a purpose, or you can live life purposefully. Ideally, you want to live life in a meaningful way without fixing meaning to anything. Similarly, it is also ideal to live life purposefully without being attached to any single purpose, or even detached from all purposes.
Ayahuasca is something that I have never tried before. Many years ago, it would have interested me to attain 'little death', now not so much. I want you to know, you can achieve little death without the help of plants, totally on your own free will, but this is the path you have chosen, so see where this goes. It is a delicate process though, so best to work with masters. Talking about masters, your Ayahuasca healers, if I am not mistaken are quite adept in their utility of plants. These plants allow a persons consciousness to 'travel' to levels of energies very near the karmic level, where most of the stories are kept. More importantly, travelling there gives a chance to question those stories, allowing for 'little death'and possibly the start of a new story. It is the process of starting a new story that is of utmost importance. It is the stories you create about yourself that dictate the unfolding of your life. So, much care must be taken in building up these new stories and identities, for they will become your life.
If you had free reign, what would you choose for your life? For ultimately, you can have free reign, the kingdom if you so choose.
Most people would say happiness, of course happiness means different things to different people. For alot of people, happiness is bring free from suffering. Thus liberty is the essential element for happiness. Without liberty, happiness can never be attained (happy 4th of July btw). Liberty simply means the ability to make an independant choice. It may be a good choice, it may be a bad choice, but it is your choice.
However, many people make their own choices, yet are still unhappy, how come? I will say much of it is because they do not own their choices. First of all, understand all choice are made in a state of development. Perfection is not something that has ever been attained in this plane of duality. Perfection is impossible here. Duality can not exist if there is perfection. Perfection will wipe out the existence of duality. So now we understand that none of the choices we make here will ever be perfect. So that pressure aside, we are now free to appreciate choices that make our lives perhaps only little bit better. But a little here, a little there and before you know it, life is as good as perfect.
So what did you learn from your experience, I wonder. Were you seeking love perhaps? Did you find it? More importantly, why were you seeking it? What story did you want to liberate yourself from? Because that's what love CAN do, it can liberate you from the fears, the grudges that have been holding you back from your true potential. It can release you to become your compassionate self.
So understand this:
1. You can only love someone to the extent that you love yourself. You can only love yourself to the extent that you 'own' the relationship with your (higher) self.
2. This world is a mirror. Do not put bandages on the mirror if you are trying to cover cuts on your cheek. What you see around you is indicative if your inner dimensions. You will always have only limited control on the exterior world, as you will always have total control on your interior world. Should you change your interior perspective, your exterior perception will always follow suit. Strive to see the beauty inside you, thus you will notice the beauty around you for it is there for you to notice and appreciate.
3. If you say that your life was chosen for you, then also say it is you who chose this life. For truly, it 'was' you, though you who had vastly more knowledge and awareness than the limited you left to wander this earth. As it is that you make better decisions as an adult than as a child, so it is that you have made a better choice with the full faculties of your highest self than you ever will as your limited self. Unblind yourself from fears and discontent. Follow your path and trust in yourself.
4. Finally, there IS meaning to life, though that meaning cannot ever be expressed in words. So stop trying to understand it, and start embracing the experience of it. No one has ever been able to express what it is, ever. The only way to know is to experience it for yourself.

Know Yourself,
and enjoy the journey.

sending back emotions

Tools for Empaths

@spiritualskies to truly understand karma would take a very very long discussion. When people refer to karma negatively, they are actually referring to only one specific aspect of karma. Karma is that level of energy that dictates what goes on in the lower levels of energy. The law of cause and effect is existent due to the rulings of the karmic layer. Everything below the karma layer is in the realm of duality, and this would include the astral planes, the dream worlds, this physical world, etc. The cause and effect part of karma would be the boomerang effect, as if the Universe wants us to understand: Do unto others as you wish done unto yourself.
So there is a safe way to send back energies, though it requires precision. See, if someone sends negative energies to you, the law dictates that they will receive negative energies in return. In some cases, it would be compassionate to let them face the consequences of their choice, and in some perhaps it is better if they do not have to. Returning their energies means there is no karmic debt they will have to face.
Healers regularly take on their patients karma, especially through reiki. Some of the illnesses people face are because of karmic or life lessons. A healer wanting to heal such a person must take on the karmic lesson if they want the healing to be effective. The healer can try to understand the lesson themselve, and when they succeed in doing so, the patient will also 'mysteriously' understand the lesson.
I would say, the purpose of all this karma is so that we can understand oneness more, and in doing so become more compassionate, not by following ideals, but by understanding who we really are. What I mean is, someone who realizes how connected all beings are, would he punch the person in front of him? Would he ever blame anyone else? When hurting others is the same as hurting ourselves, we know we should stop.
In much the same way, once we understand that other people's burdens are very much our own, would we leave them helpless? Perhaps this helps explain why we feel better in helping other than we do in helping ourselves.
As for being sarcastic, I don't mind at all you asking about it. I did mean to bring attention to what I perceive as the major cause of suffering in our world, not evil people, but well meaning ignorant people. In fact among humans, I don't believe there are any intentionally evil people. People only become malicious because they do not know better. Killing evil people is wrong, but killing evil is not. And we kill evil by spreading awareness and giving people better choices and the ability to act on those choices. We need to kill it with kindness, not righteousness.

@spiritualskies interesting information. Very interesting. If you are interested in transmuting energies then continuing what you're doing, you will achieve it, for sure. I mean by understanding the energies better, you become better adept at transmuting energies. There is of course the theory of the transmutaion cauldrons and such, but I've found that you always learn better and enjoy the process more when you discover certain things for yourself. Furthermore, through exploration, you may probably discover something new, a new way, and that would then be telepathically transmitted to other explorers.

As for using hands, yes, it is a bit advanced, but the more you develop your hand chakras, the better control you will have on the flow of energies. I am somewhat able to direct energies to do physical changes, and I always find it is stronger when I direct it in tandem with my hand chakras.

I like the part where you talk about writing poetry and your hobby/profession. I believe it shows that you are experiencing oneness. This is the possibilities that we talk about. In another forum we talk about the theory of 1%. The theory goes that we don't have to teach something to everyone, if 1% get it, then the ability or skill starts to spread automatically to the rest of the group.

I'm glad to see that you have understood that some crushing, as you say, is needed. That is what some of the suffering humanity endures, is. However having said that, not all the suffering humans experience is required for spiritual development. Sadly a majority of the suffering is unneeded self-inflicted suffering: they are caught in roundabouts, going through the same lessons over and over. Ideally, they should be spiralling upwards. So that's where sometimes some people have to be assisted in finding the exit to a particular roundabout. Fortunately we don't have tell them about it, we can just take on their karma and do it for them. And unlike lifting weights, where they don't become stronger if we lift it for them, in this particular aspect they actually do, for we are all one: them growing stronger means us growing stronger and it's also true vice versa.
As for change, well you can change the whole world if you delve deep enough within you. So don't worry about changing the energies, that is not against free will. Have you heard the story of the wind challenging the sun to see who can make a particular person take his coat off. It goes like this, one day the wind met the sun and they started talking about who was more capable. The discussion went on, so to find a conclusion, they decided to see who, between the two of them, could take the coat off this random guy. Let's call this guy Pete. The wind went first, and he blew hard. The harder the wind blew, the harder Pete held onto his coat. After some time, the wind, well he ran out of wind and began to quiet down. So it was the sun's turn. Sunny smiled confidently, and he gently shone. As he shone, the air became more pleasant, birds started to sing, dewdrops started gleaming, even a rainbow appeared. So Pete, wearing the heavy coat, saw how pleasant it had gotten, and thought to himself "wow, what an absolutely gorgeous day it has become" and he proceeded to take his coat off. The sun had won the bet. Unfortunately, the wind, being the sketchy guy that he is had evaporated into the atmosphere, once again proving that he's just full of hot air.
And that was how the sun won the bet: by making it pleasant, allowing our guy Pete to easily make a choice to change. And so it is with energies, just make the energies more pleasant, and allow people to make their own decisions. Usually they will happily change. For we don't force them to change, we merely put effort to prepare the environment to be more conducive for change.
As for what would be against free will, that would be things that barr people from making their own choices, in other words restricting their liberty of choice. Things like hindering a persons ability to think, inflicting pain so they make certain decisions, that would be the red zone. Much of this, unfortunately, is done by well-meaning people. So we do need conscious,
aware people more than we need good people, who unfortunately don't know what they are doing. Thankfully the world progresses, and we are seeing less and less of this.

So yeah, I can't speak for anyone else,
but I, for one, am enjoying your ramblings. I always love to hear stories from explorers who speak from personal experience, and so, more please.

sending back emotions

Tools for Empaths

I agree and can relate with what you have said. I have experimented with this some yime ago, and I do believe that this is possibly a more effective way to chord cutting.
When I send back emotions, I would usually do archery gestures, using my hands as anchors for the energy. When I release the 'arrow', I would almost always feel energy shooting from my heart chakra. Except for one time, my intentions were always to only return the 'alien' emotional energies. I have observed that if you only return energy, there are no karmic repercussions. That one time exception was when I was curious and wanted to know what would happen if I changed my intention and not limit it to just returning energy, but to also send an attack. I quickly found out that karma is quick in its reprisals. So that was my experience.
@spiritualskies, thanks for bringing up this topic, I think its deeply interesting to see another soul diligently testing and experimenting. As a community, I do believe the knowledge, insight and understanding we uncover together could open up so many possibilities that not only us, but also the world as a whole could benefit greatly.

Fasting

Empath

That is very interesting.
As a chef, you actually have a very important job in shaping people's outlook towards life. You see, food has the ability to deeply effect a person's thoughts and emotions.
As an explorer, I am deeply, deeply interest in food. In fact there is a saying among certain groups that if you change your food, you will change your life.
One thing I have found is that having certain foods in your stomache or your body will raise your tendency to have more of that food. It is as if the food is trying to bring in more of it's 'brethren' to dominate the body system.
Fasting liberates you from this, for sometimes the will of the food you consume may not be aligned with your own goals. It is through fasting that you can become more sensitive to the messages your body tries to give you.
I myself am sometimes a fan of fasting, and have achieved 21 days without food and water. I will not recommend this to anyone who does not know beforehand what they are doing: for I survived on pranic and some light energy. Going through the fast, somewhere past 14 days, there was a succulent sweetness to inhaling breath. I had very little worldly desires at the time, and my internal energy system felt extremely smooth and vibrant. My senses were heightened too. Going through the 21 day fast gave some very valuable insights, but more importantly, experiential knowledge. I have never experienced breath or energy as sweetly as after, or even during, a long period of fasting.
If anyone is interested, Steve Pavlina the blogger did a 40 days water fasting challenge that he has documented on his website.
If anything fasting has always been semi-mysterious, yet it's benefits seem nothing less than awesome and more light should be shed on the topic.

PK abilities?

Psychic and Paranormal

CW:
I have dealt with such circumstances before, and from my experience talking doesn't help much.
What I mean by this is that there is little hope to reason with them. Rather, this willl be a battle of mastery of emotions.
Wgat you need to do is establish deep rapport, put aside all agenda and maintain a state of non-judgement. Yet don't be passive, find as many similarities with him as you can. There are actually many, many silarities if you are willing to see them. When he feels that there are more similarities than differences between tbe two of you, that is often when he will start to open up.
When he does start to open up, the challenge is to help him to associate positive meaning to past events. Here, you must avoid trying to convince him. Rather maintain a positive state, listening empathically, and being tolerant, even when he starts blaming.
So here is where you must aware of whether you start to worry or judge slightly, and well, just let it go.
He must feel safe in that moment, and you can achieve this by cleaning the energiez by maintaining a positive state. After some time, usually, they will come to some decision to become a better person. So this will be a pretty long process, but to help even one person realize their potential, I think, is very worthwhile.

Vision boards

Empath

Vision boards can work, though are often times tricky. Theres three elements in manifestation, emotions, thoughts and imagination. They are strongest in that order.
Vision boards help with the third element, imagination, though for manifestation to work, thoughts (beliefs) need to align with the vision. However, emotion is the element that actually determines whether the manifestation succeeds.
A vision board can be particularly effective when you know how to latch onto a dream, and then let it go. When you can be happy without that which you desire, thats when it comes to you swiftly.

I've had some success with vision boards, however not at a high rate. I am a huge fan of affirmations and reminders though, due to the very high success rate I get from them. A recent favorite tool of mine is to use WOOP scripts, which is actually mental contrasting.
I guess since visualizing has rarely been a problem for me, that's why I don't require vision boards as manifestation aids like I do with affirmations and reminders. So in the end, probably its about whether the tools complement the strengths you already have.

Empathy

Empath

I can understand when you say that it's hard to accept something you can't see. There's even a common saying, seeing is believing and the popularity of this saying just goes to show how important it is to be able to see or perceive something. Yet, you must have patience when you are putting effort to start accepting your empathic side. For you see, it is possible to see the unseen, but not with your normal day to day eyes, you must see with your extra-sensory faculties. For advanced sensors, this type of vision is very much part and parcel of their everyday sight. However if you are not one of those, then you will need to develop your abilities. Know that by slowing down your thoughts and disciplining your imagination, this ability will steadily develop.
To slow down your thoughts, sit down and focus on the sensations of your breath. Experiment with many ways to sit or stand and hold your hands. These exercises may need many repetitions over a long course of time before you can enjoy the effects, so, another way is to learn Tai Chi. In a very basic sense, one way to practice this is to stand comfortably, then slowly imagine moving your hands. You might notice that the initial thoughts are fleetingly fast, so the first challenge is to slow it down to a perceptible level. Once you can do this, allow your hands to follow the image in your mind's eye. This simple practice, over time, will allow you to percieve by inner vision and feel kinesthetically the energies around you. At a point you will notice how these energies are able to influence you and the people around you. You might also figure out how to flow with these energies, so that you can acquire what you desire. And for this, all it takes is a willingness and the patience to practice.

Intuition tests.

Empath

Intuition is strongest when you are playfully curious. When you start to get 'serious' or stressed, intuition levels can drop significantly. Becoming excited tends to lower intuition, since most people tend to start becoming analytical when they get excited. Question like 'how is this happening', and 'am I doing it right' start to pop up in their heads. So the challenge here then, is to just enjoy the process and delay the questions for later.

Having a notebook or journal nearby would really help. It's usefulness in that whenever a question arises, you will remember that you can conveniently write down your experiences and questions immediately after, in your notebook. This allows you to be able to set the questions aside and focus your attention on the intuitive process.

For me, intuition feels like flowing water: as long as I don't obstruct it, it can flow freely.

extreme restlesness

Empath

@spiritualskies

I think you've answered you question in one of the posts above: it seems you are channeling some form of energy, either from somewhere 'else' or perhaps from deep inside.

If you can, couple that feeling of restlessness with some restfulness. What I mean here, is to simply acknowledge that feeling of restlessness, yet at the same time, try to experience the state where restfulness can co-exist at the same time as restlessness.

In other words, just let it be, not by ignoring it, but by being more aware, more conscious of it. As you become more aware, you may start to feel more comfortable and start to enter a neutral state where the 'message' may seem more clear to you. Here, just absorb it in, and let any visuals (if any) come to you without making any conclusions. When you feel that you have received the message fully, slowly exit this state, and perhaps write notes down in a journal. Perhaps through an analysis, part of this information will vibrate with you, giving you insight on your next course of action. Sometimes, through absorbing the message, you already instinctively know what to do, and so then the only question that remains is: will you do it?

What is your biggest issue as an empath?

Empath

Zacharias "]

http://empathcommunity.eliselebeau.com/hop-daddy>@hop-daddy-

:I'm thinking about starting a thread on my 25 year relationship with a narc. Or maybe write a book. One thing I'll say now is that she knows I'm an emapth. She knows her daughter is an empath. She wants to be an empath. She understands what that means yet she can't get her mind around the fact that she's a narc. She's just co-dependent. That mask never comes off.

This is a really interesting point, and I do agree that it does seem as if learning to co-exist with narcs is very much part of the path of development for many empaths. My opinion is that the most simple way to achieve this lies in these words: "Fatherforgive them; for they do not know what they are doing." These words are capable of transmuting the energy that we absorb from narcs. What's interesting is that as we absorb their energy, there is an exchange where they absorb our energy in return. With time, and many interactions, the narcs will transform to 'normal humans', while the empath will upgrade to the next level. The vital point to remember here is to transmute the energy as it comes in, for failing to do this, blockages can occur, and we can end up becoming an empath with narc traits. What we want, is to become an empath who has tamed these narc traits.

Should we succeed in doing this, there is great reward in the form of expanded consciousness, with consciousness being the essential element require for an expanded life. Perhaps as you 'level-up' you will notice greater control on how you react to events, you will discover ways to connect with people beyond the physical, and perhaps most importantly, your fears diminish, and you are able live life like a child. This is when life becomes a game for you, a game where you have understood the rules and are owning it.

Crazy dream and visions

Psychic and Paranormal

Hello @alexisw

I'm kind of late to this discussion, but I hope you don't mind if I share my views. Firstly though, you're are not crazy, though it always feels that way, when these 'things start happening'. You see, the physical world we live in is interconnected with a vast limitless ocean of existence, and in one point of this ocean is the physical reality we experience. Closely relate to this physical reality is an 'area' of space and time, astral projectors usually refer to it as The Real-Time Zone. Most report that the RTZ often seems more vivid and lucid than the day-to-day reality we live in. It's possible to channel, tunnel and project within the RTZ. Sometimes, when someone projects into the RTZ, people in the waking world can see translucent apparitions, even body doubles. High level mystics and psychics have been known to be able to project their physical likeness to far-away places, yet that is quite a high-level ability. A not so rare ability is the ability to tunnel-vision through the astral, whether the RTZ or perhaps higher astral realms. Some people have this ability to do this at will, while some have this ability happen seemingly at random. When using this ablity, should they look at the RTZ, they will see vividly a scene that is happening somewhere else around the world, perhaps somewhere in the remote past, even somewhere in the future. Now the future is influenced by the realm of possibilities, still, what they see is possibly something that is most likely to happen.

If the seer, on the other hand, looks at the higher realms, he will see visions that are increasingly abstract the higher he goes. Most dreams take place in these realms, realms slightly higher the RTZ, perhaps we can refer to this as the dream realms. These dreams realms are places where you can train, explore concepts, even use as a meeting point between realms, for instance as a half-way point between your main consciousness and perhaps a guide entity. Dreams or visions from these realms are more symbolic than visions from the RTZ. This is where some interpretation is required. Usually these messages are received in dream forms, still ,it is quite possible to receive them as waking vision or even in the between state, almost like a day-dream.

Alexisw, for some people, prior to having an awakening of the inner potential, it is common to have dreams that have a theme of 'armageddon', 'world wars' and 'global destruction'. From one perspective, these dreams are telling you that your 'world' is coming to an end. We can also see it as a particular 'reality' or 'world view' coming to an end. Perhaps due to increased and enhanced abilities to perceive, your inner self is planning to shed past beliefs and paradigms and adopt new ones. It's a very good process, an evolution of consciousness. You see, alexisw, what we choose to perceive shapes our paradigms which in turn shape our reality. From the reality we then perceive, we enforce, and fine-tune our paradigms. I have come across some groups that refer to this process as reality bending or perhaps we should simply call it choosing your destiny ;)

Houses usually indicate life, as in the life we experience. Being at your mother's house tells us that this is related to the origin or purpose of your life. The living room is where we meet people and conduct day-to-day activities. The back door can be seen as a private, personal entry point, as opposed to the front door where we receive guests. Lightning is shocking, yet interestingly, in your dream lightning is not only shocking but also ground shaking. Perhaps if we meld this into a sentence we can say that 'when you see as you turn to look internally, what you find may come to you as shocking in the intensity of truth and shake-up, perhaps even alter the beliefs that make up the foundations of your reality. As I see it, it's not a bad kind of shift, rather a preferred kind of shift, where you remember your original purpose / self and bring it into your day to day life.

What you notice around the world, after having this dream, is very much related to the dream. If you had nothing holding you back, what would you do about the world situation? How would you help to foster peace and understanding? How will you helps others to 'see' that we are in actuality the same people?

You are right, bill-walker. This whole universe is, in a way, the akashic records. Though the term akashic records is actually a concept, to bridge the linear understanding of most humans and the non-linear, infinite, 'structure' of no-physical reality. Here, if we mention that physical reality is merely a drop of water in an infinitely expansive ocean of existence/non-existence, I wonder how it is received? My own experience with this stems from a projection (astral) experience where I came upon a 'concept', a situations of sort. In that experience, I was taken to a 'place' where the whole physical universe was a drop of water, dropping into the limitless ocean. The drop of water is/was in a continual dropping condition, the moment of dropping lasting infinitely, yet the drop is/was not static. The drop of water is the comparison between the infinite amount of information in the Akashic Records and The Limitless Ocean (sometimes referred to as the ocean of mercy). Normally, it would be quite hard to compare two different types of infinities, fortunately, human development in this focus (point) of time gives us the understanding of fractals. Existence is a huge kaleidoscope of existence/non-existence, and our physical reality is a fractal pattern / equation within that grand, limitless kaleidoscope. By itself, the physical universe can unfold into a never ending pattern / geometry, from the source pattern. Yet, All That Is is even more encompassing, creating patterns into infinite amounts of dimensions, and realities, in an infinite number of ways, permeating the infinitely small and encompassing the infinitely large.

As for heaven, astral travelers, particularly students of The Monroe Institute, have given various accounts of coming across realms in the higher astral that are similar to the various ideas of heaven found in the many traditions. These realms exist on a plane higher than the planes related to the physical. Yet, what is probably more interesting is that higher still, is a total non-physical reality that exists in a state of non-duality. This 'area' can be thought of as related to outer part of the inner area of a star tetrahedron, the part that is in contact with the outer triangular points. Here, all things exist as light, and there are no forms. Perhaps if we say heaven is the 'place' devoid of all suffering, and satisfies all desires, then perhaps, this 'area' too is suited to being called 'Heaven'.

Protection in known place of paranormal activity

Psychic and Paranormal

@hop-daddy

That's very good advice, and also that's very interesting about shungite. Knowledge gained from experience is definitely the best type. Thanks for sharing, Hop Daddy.

@cat-whisperer

There are actually quite a few things that you can do, in addition to carrying stones, you can try sending energy to the event. You can use Reiki or any other technique, and ho'oponopono too works well in directing energy. Initial connection to the event will give you a glimpse of how the event can possibly turn out, yet, as you work on sending the energy to the event, you will notice that how you feel about the event (or perhaps even see, remotely) will change considerably. You can also experiment with sending any other type of energy or frequency of light that you have been attuned to an event to find out its effects.

Trying to stop the empathy

Empath

The question, perhaps, is not why are you feeling bad, rather than, who is feeling bad. Perhaps, what you feel is not entirely yours, but 'shared'. What this means is that you have the possibility of influencing their emotions, energy, thought, and even beliefs in subtle ways. What you are doijg right now is perfect, absorb good vibration everywhere you can, and spread these to where you are guided to. Empaths are amazing conduits of energy, and playing this role well is not just transformative for the empath, also for the people around them.
There are many characteristics of light, and here is one that I have observed: like electricity, light follws the path of least resistance. In other words, light loves to flow. An empath who is openly condusive to light will find that a lot of light will flow through them. The amount of light that flows through them is related to the amount of light they in turn give out. So there is a balance here, but not as in a see-saw kind of balance, but a spinning gyroscope kind of balance. With time and practice, giving and receiving light becomes the same. Giving, and receiving emotions become one. To give is to receive, and to receive is to give.
So, now, something more practical. In the field there is really not much time to think so being prepared is important. As such, practice is key, meaning, the more you do it, the better you will be at it. Let's say you are with some people who are projecting 'negative' energy after you responded to them. Perhaps at this time it's good to remember the feeling that everything is alright. It might help to imagine that everything's ng is alright and really feel that feeling. At this point, its quite alright if it feels fake. Just fake it til you make it, hehe. Actually, what's happening is, as you are projecting positive energy, these people are perhaps also projecting their negative energy. Cleanse, with the feeling of 'its okay', and/or any release technique and priject the positive energy again. You might notice that this time, the negative energy might have dissipated somewhat. By simple repetition, eventually the energies will have dissipated comfortably.
Keep in mimd a few thing though. Firstly, never aim to chajge anyone, that really isn't our job. Whether they want to vhange is entirely their choice, we merely help provide an atmosphere that supports positive change. This is providing space for change. Secondly, always look after number one. This may sound selfish outwardly, but really it means we focus on making ourselves better, on keeping our vibrations positive and not on changing anything outside ourselves. As you know, we have little control on exterior things. Yet our own vibrations, that is 100% within our power, plus it's 100% our responsibility. So, gently maintain focus on where your power is. Thirdly, know that it is very much a game. Life is a serious game, so take it playfully and seriously at the same time. Thoroughly enjoying the game is the best way towards victory.
So, apologies for the long post, but really do give this a try. I'm curious to hear feedback and perhaps one or two war stories.

*small note, some of the bad feelings can also come from subconscious beliefs that we acquired throughout our lives. Not to worry, these are conveniently cleared as we play the 'game'.

Trying To Interpret Feelings At A Funeral

Empath

That's an interesting article and a valid opinion piece. Though it's an opinion piece, I wouldn't say it's not true, rather it is quite true and clarifies a lot of things. It is often quite perplexing to explain the question of those who 'move over'. In actuality, the question is not perplexing at all, though it is quite complex. And, when things are complex, it is best to simplify by changing angle, perspective, and/or focus. So let's change perspective. For most people, they/we view time as linear, for that is how science views time. Science views time in a linear fashion because that how science evolved initially, as linear records written on pieces of paper. Paper is, as we can easily ascertain, very linear. The physical world we live in however is anything but linear. It is linear to those who wish to view it as such, yet it can be non-linear for those who wish it as such. We will perceive what we wish to perceive, for Reality works in fractals. Time is in fractals, nature us in fractals, energy is in fractals. Mystics of the past have talked about the kaleidoscopic universe. In 'time' mainstream science will catch on with M theory and string theory, which seemingly talk of the same thing, just different aspects of the same.
So how does this all relate to the story of the dead? Well first, no one moves anywhere when they die. There is no here/there, these are perceptions. Secondly, no one is 'here', no one is anywhere, place is a conception. It is very 'true' in this reality, don't get me wrong. To function well within this reality requires good mastery of time and place. Just that as it relates to the dead, time and place do not mean as much as they do to physical human. Time and space also mean little to the astral traveller or mystic, only as much as is required to function in this reality.
So, what does mean much? Well, emotions and beliefs mean a lot more than places in time. When we tune into a particular memory, it is usually by tuning into particular emotions or vibrations. That is also how events relate to each other. Time is meaningless, emotions however are maningful. Without an event, a particulr date is meaningless. Because of the emotional intensity if an event, a date gains meaning. It is around these meanings that everything else is arranged. For instance the Kennedy assassination is very meaningful, it touches many people. We now arrange events that lead up to and are affected by this particular event.
Funerals, are mostly quite meaningful. At funerals, we dedicate memory to the recently deceased. From another perspective, what we are doing is attuning a particular place to the vibrations of the deceased. It becomes a focal point connected to that person's particular energies. Of course this does not mean that that particular person's energies are located there. It just means that its easier to connect to the energies of that person from that partucular place. On that note, memorials can be particularly interesting. Memorials do not necessarily contain the bodies of the remembered. Sometime they are simply plaques or small structures. Still, because of the focusing done over time, by close friends and relatives, memorials act as gateways to the energies of the remembered. Sometimes more so than at their actual graves. Books, I have found, can act in much the same way, and this can be interesting for those who want to explore.
So here, I am acknowledging both what Erin wrote, yet also what Karen wrote above. Both are quite true when taken into perspective. Although when Erin mentions 'merely symbolism', I do wonder, for symbolism is a central part of attuning and perhaps the adjective 'merely' is less relevant. Perhaps merrily would fit better, 'merrily symbolism'.

Trying To Interpret Feelings At A Funeral

Empath

@hop-daddy
That's also correct, I have that feeling also. It really is a good example of the workings of attraction and synthesis. The situation, the people, the feelings of some of the dead, they all got together. And this is where the priest is the main point of interest. In that moment, he cleared some of the anxiety that gathered there. Perhaps he is a conscious empath, or perhaps he is just very spiritually aware, or maybe all this happened unintentionally, yet an evolution of emotions happened. Sparks of higher vibrations are spreading across time, space, realms and dimensions. This evolution reminds me of transcendental meditation, where its not about trying to constantly be at peace, but to easily return to peace whenever needed. The more you get a chance to return to peace, the better you are at returning to peace.

@hop-daddy
Sorry for your loss, she must have been an amazing person.
As I read this, I felt a sort of deja vu, hehe, it feels like we already had this conversation. Its worth a repeat still, this conversation is a good one.
Hop Daddy, your radar is quite fine. I believe most of what you picked up was from one of the dead. Probably the poor soul felt a lot of anxiety in his final moments. If you were standing on his grave, then that would deepen the tuning, much like if you made physical contact. Plus, of course your initial thoughts of having to stand on a grave might have some influence as well. I've had some experience at graves myself, and it's very interesting what you can pick up.
Btw, that priest sounds like a very interesting person. I wonder if he whispers to the dead too.

Cosmic disturbance

Empath

Hi @lightstorm
It's actually hard to figure out exactly what it is, because there are a multitude of entities lurking in the astral. But if you're feeling anxiety, then it best to practice on grounding and shielding. Bringing in the wrong vibrations into a projection can attract undesired results. There have been stories of people being taken over, not to scare anyone, just be cautious and take the proper prepratory steps to astral travel.
There is only ever one spirit you would want to let in, and that's your own higher self. When it comes in, there is an overwhelming sense of calm, peace, love, bliss, and you would recognize it.

Any Advice On Overcoming Bad Luck?

Empath

@hop-daddy
How your situation resolved is exactly what was needed. Life situations rise and fall, yet if we can maintain our inner core, our awareness and connectedness to god, life situations are little more than mini movies. Prayer is a wonderful spiritual practice and really we should have a habit of conversing with God, to be with god and feel with God always, 24/7.
As for kundalini, some people say it is because of intense yogic practice or extreme phtsical trauma. This can be true, however it is also true that people get kundalini awakenings through intense study (eureka moments), music (like Mozart) , emotional trauma, pursuing one's passion or simply living a calm peaceful life. Kundalini actually means to awaken the true potential of the human. There is a similar concept in Taoism and buried within Christianity. In Christianity it's about union with Spirit, in other words union with God, or to be one with god. In Europe, there was a man, Jacob Boehme, who live a very normal, although devout life. One day, as he was looking at a beam of light, a realization came to him, and it awakened something within him. In Europe, much later, there was another man, Einstein, who pursued his passion through intense research and though. One day, he too had an experience looking into a beam of light. He too had something awaken within him. His soul awakened. Your past experiences are not wrong, you are not wrong. You are going towards the light, just that everyone goes in their own unique, special way. Jnana Yoga means union with knowledge or connection to knowledge. In the book it lists sudden knowledge and arising of deep questions as the symptoms. This is part of what I perceive so far. Now that you are actively pursuing clarity, I believe this can become a reality. Perhaps you have considered being a consultant, in which case, such a career would be in alignment.

p.s The book is one person's opinion or perspective, I'm much more interested in the truth that you will eventually bring out.

Wondering if you got a chance to check the book, biology of kundalini. Did you find the chapter on symptoms, especially Jnana Yoga, interesting?
Anyway, wanted to share a video I recently saw on youtube. In the video, Jeffrey talks about empaths halfway through the video. Perhaps it's an interesting watch for fellow empaths, so heres the link:

Any Advice On Overcoming Bad Luck?

I recently came across a book that talks about kundali, its symptoms, how to get through it comfortably and how to deal with the aftermath:
http://biologyofkundalini.com
The link is a free version of the book.
I haven't finished reading it yet, but I thought it was worth sharing either way, perhaps could bring some good discussions.
There is also a free video/webinar by jeffrey allen, about how to deal with energy.
The course is called duality, there is a full version and a free version. In the free version, Jeffrey teaches an energy technique to deal with trapped negative energy and replace it with positive energy. I have tried this technique and it has produced fast results. Perhaps you can try this too.

Any Advice On Overcoming Bad Luck?

Empath

It is very possible to overcome past karma, and eventually be rid of all residue karma.
Not everyone needs to overcome their selves entirely, and not everyone will incarnate the same level of spirit. Basically the deeper the pain someone goes through, the higher the level of inner spirit that can possibly be brought forth. The initial inner light of realization is all that is required to turn the tide on luck and life.
Without boring with details, I will mention here that watching Dr Hew Len's video on Ho'oponono can possibly ignite that spark. Followed with diligent practice in 'cleaning', eventually much of the 'memories' that cause 'bad luck' can be cleared. It is not a fast method or a quick fix, but an on-going development. It is recommended to watch the videos repeatedly, as a 'remembrance' will occur. An easier method is to be in resonance with a 'master', yet each person will have to search for their own, if they have one.
There is a saying that cleanliness is next to godliness, and this is very much close to the truth. Marie Kondo uses tidying up as a method of therapy. Tidying up clears the mind, and cleaning purifies it. Henry Ford prioritized cleaning highly to ensure the success of his enterprise. Clarity is the key.
Never worry, for existence was built on certainties. Spend time daily, thinking of things that are definitely certain. Latch onto and anchor the feeling and vibration of certainty. Hold it as often as possible throughout the day, everyday. Eventually fears will fade, for fear and certainty (faith) cannot co-exist in the same space.
Once clarity is obtained, breathing becomes possible, and space is created.
(I wonder if anyone else noticed that Dr Hew Len's name also means 'Conform Sight (lenses) ', god's pun probably)

Strong sensations???

Empath

Good for you @tigerlily.

Seems your energy levels have heightened, so right now it's important to stabilize it to this level. First thing is, don't over do using abilities, but keep constant practice. What I mean is, don't start using your abilities to serve others just yet, it needs to stabilize first. Using it for yourself is fine, and good practice. Secondly, it's really important to ground and get comfortable. Thirdly, don't justify anything to anyone, hehe, just give any excuse you can. Trying to justify or explain these things is a trap that can cause a 'crash' and subsequent fallout. One thing you might begin to notice though is that as abilities develop, certain people tend to distance themselves, while certain other will become more open towards you. This is probably because of the change in your overall vibrations (and underlying beliefs), so you will start to repel some people you attracted before and attract people you did not before.
