Negative energies

Empath

I dismissed this post at first as hype about the blood moon. And I know that mercury is in retrograde right now, too.

But it's kind of getting out of hand. Almost everyone, it seems, has been experiencing a lot of negative energy. The not-as-sensitive ones just say that they had a hard day at work, etc. but everyone is very blaaahhh, tired, exhausted. Everything's blurry, can't see or think straight.

I've been experiencing it as well. Isn't mercury being in retrograde supposed to be mostly about communication? This is definitely more than that.

Blocking Abilities

Empath

Second, third, fourth, and fifth Trevor's post!!! lol

My experience/understanding/impression is that you're never going to completely block it out. It's a part of who you are. And it is a gift. I know it doesn't feel like it right now, but it is a gift.

What you need to focus on is *coping* with it, and *filtering* the emotions, learning to *control* that flow, not get rid of it all together. The more you try to get *rid* of it, the more it'll smack you in the face, like any other part of yourself that you'd try to deny.

"For example, I'm very heavily and usually quickly affected by alcohol and caffeine."

I meant to say there that I'm somewhat small physically, so that explains why it goes through me quickly. In addition to the fact that, as with tylenol/etc, I try not to partake of it too much.

Vampires?

Empath

I want to also point out that vampirism tends to be more something you DO.

I'm going to give an example of how being an empath is different from being empathic. (I don't know about you, but I learn better through example.)
Being an empath means that you always feel the emotions of others until you learn to filter it. Even when you do, you're never truly turned off, you never completely disconnect from others. You will always be more sensitive than those around you. (Unless someone wants to chime in, this is my experience.)
Being empathic means that you can sometimes understand/feel the emotions of others. I understand that there are people out there who aren't always tuned in, but can do it at will/occasionally. I don't know if that's... something they learned or were always able to do. I find it most often with those who have trained it and other sensitivities though.Back to vampirism. I have been told that some people are born with a natural energy deficiency, that they are born vampires. But in all of my experience (not a whole lot, mind, I'm young), and in my reading of older occult books, I have not found this.
I have found that it's usually *caused* by something. Often another vampire, sometimes a psychic attack, sometimes perhaps just life (abuse, trauma, etc).
The point here is that the vampire has an energy deficiency. Their... etheric double, their aura, whatever. Some part of them is *leaking.* They can't contain their energy. Any attempts to build it up will not fill them.So instead of patching the hole, they feed off of others because it's quicker and easier.Empaths tend to be the target of many abuses because of our capacity to forgive. We understand the pain that the other person is going through, so we tend to be more likely to forgive, and thus make excuses.

Our empathy is both our strength and our weakness. It can be an awesome super power, but we must be on guard for those who would take advantage of it.

Vampires?

Empath

You can find lots of info on the internet if you use the right search terms. The main problem is filtering the fantasy from the reality, but it's much the same with looking up anything else similar (clairvoyance, being psychic, being an empath, etc).

Vampires feed on your energy. The vast majority of the time, they just steal it from you. Empaths are more likely to feel drained all the time even without psychic vampires around because we're just exhausted from processing the emotions, so it's hard to tell when someone around us a vampire vs when they're just very emotional.

Some vampires, especially in more advanced stages, can actually genuinely have an aversion to sunlight, and sometimes do drink blood.

Despite what I have read on the Internet and been told about some people just having an energy deficiency that can be cured or treated no other way whatsoever, it has been my experience that vampirism is just a terrible habit/addiction that can be cured when you address the actual energy deficiency.

Same dream

Empath

It's not dangerous because where you're going in of itself is dangerous. It's dangerous because you clearly don't know what you're doing.

If something's telling you that you don't belong on Earth, that sounds like it's trying to push you out of your body, honestly. Probably so it can get in there.

It may very well be true that you don't belong here, but you need to stay here until you've learned whatever lessons your spirit needs to before moving on. Anything trying to urge you to leave probably isn't in your best interests.

The good and helpful spirits/energies/etc don't tell you that you need to leave. They try to guide you toward learning your lesson, because moving on is simply what happens on its own when you learn that lesson.

This is what a spammer looks like...

Empath

Bahahaha, I came on today because I got a comment on my page that looked suspicious, but when I got on here to look at it to be sure, it was gone. Guess it was a spammer that got reported. :D

Do you guys feel or sense anything about the upcoming "Blood Moon Eclipse" on 27th & 28th September 2015?

Empath

Just a thought that popped into my head: "end of the world."

Every time any thing like prophecies mention the "end of the world," I never see it as an actual end, but more like the Death card in the Tarot. An end of something is just a transition into a new something. The end of the world happens all the time. 2015 is certainly a completely different world than we had in the 1800s or in 1960.

I'm sensitive to everything too. However, my physical sensitivities are easily explained away by other physical things.

For example, I'm very heavily and usually quickly affected by alcohol and caffeine.

Medicine like Tylenol doesn't seem to affect me much at all though. It works, but it doesn't seem to last as long as it should. And I make great pains (and have pain most of the while, heh) to try *everything else* first. (Headache? Drink water. Cramps, do crunches and/or take a hot shower. Stuff like that.)

I am very intolerant to smells, odors, gases, pollen, spores, etc. But I also have a deviated septum (born with it, not punched in the nose), which apparently usually is accompanied by sinus problems. That being said, I can tell when produce is overripe and/or rotting before I've even touched it. It makes me itchy because I'm picking up on the ethylene that it's giving off. Part of that is from working in the produce section of a grocery store for so long, but looking back, I already had some of that sensitivity when I first started doing it. It's just stronger now that I've recognized and paid attention to it, I think.
