Cherubs

Empath

Hi Sandy,I don't have any experience, that's why I was hoping others did!! I bought these 2 pictures last week of cherubs, and at the store they sort of started to come alive before my eyes. This is the same thing I experience when doing picture readings for people. It just struck me that although I don't work on an angelic level, (my energy is more earthy, I'm more comfortable with the lower-frequency energies like spirit guides & fairies & such), but I've always had a soft spot for cherubs & cupids. I just never realized it until now!! Then, it occurred to me that people who work with angels never mention cherubs, so I thought I'd ask if anyone has seen them, and perhaps in what situation(s) you might find them since all the angels seem to have specific jobs, I thought *maybe* they've popped up once in awhile!

Cherubs

Empath

I bought a picture of a cherub recently, and I realized, when people talk about communicating with angels, I've never heard them mention cherubs! I've never been much of an angel person, but I feel a strong connection to cherubs. Just curious if anyone has had any contact or experience with them??

I just wanted to thank everyone for participating, and to say I was really impressed with everyone's readings, and I hope it encourages people to try doing more past life stuff because it takes practice to overcome that "am I making this up??" reaction. It's very cool when some little piece of info you get turns out to be historically accurate!!

Hi Lynn,I've been accumulating these over the last 20 years or so. I just get a flash of something, and then start telling the story. At first, it felt like I was making it all up, but the more I allowed it, the more it seemed real. I've only recently started doing historical research on them, but it has been amazing. I was afraid for a long time I wouldn't find any proof, but more often than not, I find interesting confirmations.

Phew! Thanks to everyone who participated, this was great! I'll list a few other lives I've seen:-Spanish Dancer when Spaniards took over performing the dance from Gypsies. Was killed by my manager when I tried to retire.-Russian Ballerina, toured with a group of traditional Russian dancers. Ballet came easily to me, but I hated the regimented moves.-Buddhist Monk who thought I had reached the end of my life cycle, boy was I wrong!!-Geisha-Dock worker in Boston. Male, obsessed with money.-Lighthouse keeper-"Witch" in England, orphaned, lived in the church until psychic things started happening to me, I ran away, lived alone in a cottage in the woods, people were terrified of me.-Native man, 20's, in northern US who's tribe was decimated by soldiers.-Native woman who married a white politician in Quebec. I felt like it was fashionable at the time to have a native bride (in addition to his real wife back in England), had kids & a comfortable life, but I realized my kids would never have the same rights as white children.-Metis trappeur, possibly during the time of Louis Riel. Can't think of any others at the moment!

Hi Danielle,Again, I haven't seen this life, but the connection I feel here is SO strong. The word widow practically jumps off the page, and I can feel working, loving the work, and feeling connected to the village. There's such a wonderful feeling to it.

Hi Brenoir,If you didn't read Sandy's answer, you were both seeing the same life! Yup, mostly I was a barmaid, but after I got tired of letting myself get slapped around for nothing, I decided to up the stakes. That wasn't a very fulfilling life, but it was definitely an experience!!

You're getting warmer!! LOL! Although, I didn't run the house, I just worked there, and it wasn't in Texas. I've remembered many lives as a prostitute! One in France at the turn of the century 1900's, one in Portugal before that, and as I was watching a show about Gladiators the other day, they showed these underground brothels, and I was struck by them, and I knew I was a prostitute there too! I have never felt any connection to Gladiators, and now I know why. I was a prostitute, and I wasn't allowed to go see them, so I kind of snubbed them like I didn't care!!

Hi Danielle,I think I was a jester in a past life, although not a very good one! LOL! That might be the male performer you were seeing. I think I fancied myself a musician, but when I tried to join a legitimate troupe, they laughed at me. So, I struck out on my own as a jester, not realizing that people liked my show because it was ridiculous. I was rather oblivious.I do think the majority of my lives were in Europe, and North America. The last one feels right, but again, I can't really place it.

Hi Sandy,I don't know what to make of #1, but I have German roots in this life, and I know I've been born in Germany in the past, but I'm just not sure.#2, however, I think is bang-on! Don't know if you read Brenoir's answer on the next page, but I'm sure they're the same life! I forgot about this one because it just seemed so cliche, a barmaid, in a family-owned pub, in England, in Dover?? But, I saw all those same things, even the sparsely populated area around the pub. When I saw the cliffs of Dover, I absolutely fell in love with them, and wished I had stayed there to visit. What I saw of this life was more on Brenoir's rendition, with the flirting (to the point of prostitution.) I think my husband left me. That's why I don't see myself with anyone else, but after like 5+ years when he didn't come back, I decided I might as well make the best of my situation. I feel very bitter, though. I didn't show it, but I really got sick of men grabbing me whenever they felt like it.

Hi Brenoir,I'm wondering if this is the same life I've seen that was during Jesus' lifetime? I think I heard him speak, and was inspired by his teachings. However, after he died, I misguidedly fought for what he stood for, but I had completely misinterpreted his work. Oh well, I died believing in *something* I guess!!Even if this wasn't the same one, I think you're onto something here!!

Hi Alexis,I would say I've been a healer many times. I never thought about this much. I was a "witch" in England, but no one would dare burn me at the stake because they were all terrified of me. LOL!! But, when their loved ones got sick, they would brave the trek because I had a reputation as a healer. I lived by myself in the woods... hmmm... I'm seeing another trend here...

It's funny, when I ask people what they would be in a past life, I rarely get the Cleopatra/Joan of Arc answers! People say the most mundane things. It's really weird.I don't know if I was a doctor, I always fancied myself as more of a Shaman in my past lives! As I was reading this, I felt like I might have been a nurse, though, who was frustrated with doctors because I felt I could basically do their job without the big egos. I wasn't aware of this life before, but I get such a strong feeling from it! It hit me right in the gutt when I read it. A strong woman in a time when women weren't respected as having brains. I can feel the frustration. Thanks Roxy!! That was a great answer!

LOL!!! Well... I don't *think* I was a taxi driver, but I sure do feel like one in this life!!!!! No, I'm not bitter...I do believe I lived in New York in the 1940's though!! I was a woman who was slightly depressed, was unsuccessful in finding myself a man, so I got a job as a secretary, and ended up working for a legitimate business that was owned by the mob. I never saw any of that side of the business, although I think I knew, but the men were very good & nice to me, and they never put me in harm's way by letting on that anything was out of the ordinary. I lived alone my whole life, and was quite happy.

Hi Ana,Honestly, I don't really know how it works! I can do readings at a distance using someone's name. I haven't had time to do them lately, unfortunately, because I don't get as much undisturbed computer time as I'd like. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with regression. I have a technique that I've used with great success that's very simple. I just ask people ~ if you had a past life, what would it be? Then you have to say the first thing that comes to mind. Surprisingly, it works best on skeptics! Although, it does nothing to convince them it's true, but it's still pretty cool. The key is not to think too much, and just say what comes to mind, and then keep going without filtering. I'm planning on taking next week off, so I might be able to slip in a few readings then!

Hi Rook,Well, right off the bat I was interested because the way you saw the past life with "snapshots" was very similar to the way I see past lives. I get "flashes" which are pictures and unless I focus on it, and start telling the story, they simply vanish. While I tell the story, I'll get details like that & when I look into them, I usually come up with interesting stuff just like you did researching "Cassandra" and finding out it is, in fact, a Greek name. Very cool.

HI Equsapien,I was raised in a fairly liberal-minded home when it came to religion. Both my parents were raised as Christians, but *I* was the one dragging them to church when I was young! LOL!! I was born knowing that God exists, and that I'd been here before. I just knew. I never discussed it with anyone because I kind of took it for granted. I know a lot of people don't believe in past lives, and it's certainly not my job to convince them, but personally I can't even conceive that it could be any other way. I have heard rumours that there were references in the original bible that were removed because it didn't suit the priests' agenda at the time of making people suffer so they could get into the afterlife.

I had an idea for a biscuit thread, albeit an unusual one, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway! I don't get as much computer time as I'd like, so I'll try my best to keep up with it. Past lives are kinda my specialty, and I've noticed a lot of interest in them lately, so I thought people might like the opportunity to test their abilities in this area. For me, doing past life readings on myself or someone else follows the same process, so maybe it could lead to increased access to this information! Ok, so here it is:

Try to guess my past lives!!

Now, granted, I don't know ALL of my past lives, so basically I can't say that anyone's guess is wrong! But, I do know quite a few of them, and this could potentiallly open my eyes to some I'm unaware of. I would encourage you to give as many details as possible about it like place, era, profession, life lessons, anything at all! So, step right up & give it your best shot!!

OMG!! That was actually on the right track!! I really think these biscuits are important to help us understand our process, how & what we "get". I did actually see the push pin turn all different colours of the rainbow, but blue & green were the most prominent! Wow! BTW, I LOVE how that room is decorated!!!!! I adore mirrors, I have those same round mirrors, and I would have the starburst one too, but it was too expensive (I'm very cheap!!) I love the blue & green together. Yeah, the only way I knew where my boundaries were is if they got trampled. Even then, I couldn't protect them, I just knew where they were. I felt so much pressure to be doing stuff that I became practically immobilized. I couldn't do what *I* wanted because if someone criticized it in any way (which was inevitable), I would be crushed. The more I did for others, the more drained I felt. And yet, there was no "reason" for me to be feeling any of this (or so I was told). Man, I feel like I've lived my life in a straight jacket!

Thanks, Lynn. I'm only just becomming aware of it. It does seem like a source of manipulation, for sure. I think this is the source of irrational anger & frustration, too, because the guilt was causing me to react in anger that was misdirected. If someone asked me to do something, I couldn't say no because of the guilt, but it wasn't THAT PERSON who was making me feel guilty, it was guilt from my childhood causing me to feel angry at their request. What I was really angry about was the fact that I couldn't say no, and I didn't know why. If that makes any sense. This is what's been sucking away my personal power. Yes, forgiveness, too. Very important.
