How Do You Project and Draw?

Empath

RyuukoGo, you are totally right. It can very well lead to a dark path. That's why it's only used in extreme cases like I mentioned earlier. Yet, like Emmy Long said in her post, there are those who do practice and use it on a daily basis to help and achieve personal gain.

How Do You Project and Draw?

Empath

You are right in what your saying. I only purposely use this technique when a person is hysterical or have gone emotionally overboard. I agree with you, but I also feel there are times when projecting/drawing must be used.

How Do You Project and Draw?

Empath

As an empath, you are able to project your emotions onto another person in order to influence or change their current emotional stature. With me, I have to be within a certain radius of the person and interacting with them either physically or vocally. Then I find myself projecting onto them a more positive emotion.

As an empath, you are also able to take one's emotion(s) from them. For this, I have to have physical contact. Once contact is made, I can draw out this negative emotion and release it back into the universe. Yet, I have found that when this is done, you have to replace this taken emotion with a positive emotion or their negativity comes back worse than before.

So, my questions to you is, "How do you project?" "How do you draw out emotions?" and "Is it worth the energy drain to make another feel better?". I appreciate you replies.

lol...wow. This brings back memories. Yes I have experienced this, but only once in my life. Eleven years ago, I met my late wife at the local mall where she worked. When I first saw her, I felt a severe drawing towards her. I had to meet her. When we walked outside on her break to talk, I just knew she and I were going to be married and spend the rest of our lives together. I felt so in love with her and I knew nothing about her, yet somehow I knew everything. We had a love many people only dreamed about having.

Word or Phrase

I have 3 I use all the time. "Jackass", "It happens", and "Accept it, Embrace it, and Let it go".

Up until recently, I spent the last 9 years as a maintenance man for a low income housing company. It was a very bad situation for an empath. I spent most of my mornings in a clearing in the nearby woods to prepare for the day. Now, I own a small photography business. I'm in control of my surroundings now. There are still some touchy times, but nothing I can't redirect.

Kaitlyn has some really good advise. The good thing about empaths is that we operate on motion. Hold positive emotions and let go of the negative. Use filters instead of shields to help you let positive emotion in and filter out the negative that comes your way. Its gonna be hard at first. Think of a time that made you the happiest. Feel that memory and the emotion of happiness that was present. Now hold that feeling. That'll give you a foundation to rebuild on. Sociopaths and narcissists usually drain ones energy like a vampire. These you should shield yourself from at the first sign that they are draining your energy. Hope this helps a bit.

energy through my hands

Empath

I do quite frequently. I've gotten to the point I can focus my energy onto my hands at will. Has to do with healing I believe.

Empath

Hi all. I'm new here. I found out about this community through my late wife. She was a member here. I am a empath. Have been for as long as I can remember. I joined this site because my wife talked very high of you guys b4 her passing. So, I'm here to help and to learn. I count it a blessing to once again talk to people who actually understand.
