Absolutely, your post is being read :-) I may be 3 times your age but I've worked with hundreds of empaths and most of us start off with many of the doubts and uncertainties you have. It's part of the new normal.

It will take time to settle down as you get used to a new way of looking at yourself and the world around you differently. This is a great place to find people around you who know what you are going through.

Gotta run now but hang out here and enjoy your new vibe tribe!

Thank you for your response! I am so glad I came here to say how I felt and am feeling. I am usually very shy, and posting something even to a community as nice as this one was very daunting.

You and everyone else here have already helped me so much, and I can't wait to learn more :)

(Lol, my responses may come at weird, later times because I am also getting use to the site :) )

For most of us, of course we are shy. Why would we be forward and expressive of who we really are when, most of the time, we are surrounded by people who don't understand us?  I'm lucky. Having chosen to move to Asheville, NC (admittedly 4 years ago at the age of 56) I am now surrounded by my vibe tribe, people who understand me and are empaths and sensitives themselves.  An now I am on a mission to reach out to many other empaths.  Have a look at "Thriving as an Empath" on Amazon :-)

Your turn will come ... and at a much younger age.

Your goal to reach out to other empaths and finding your "vibe tribe" is very inspiring! :D "Thriving as an Empath" is definitely on my list for future read regarding how to approach life as an empath. (I feel like my thirst for knowledge can never be quenched!)

I am very interested in how you were able to find and surround yourself with other empaths or sensitive people. I'll see if there is a blog on this already, and if not...I guess I'll have to find the courage to ask on a new blog :)
