I wanted to share an article that I think does an excellent job of explaining the existence of ghosts, and their impact on the living. It even touches on human mood changes and energy draining from ghost activity. And I think that's something quite a few of us have dealt with. I hope you enjoy the article and look forward to some discussion.
How Ghosts Impact Us
I heard unworthy. You know you can leave, Right? I heard unattainable. He is a Grandfatherly being, and my house reminds him of happier times. We coexist, which is ok with me.
A couple of things mentioned in the article resonates with me. The first being seeing faces while trying to go to sleep....I believe we had discussed this a while back. It’s almost like viewing pictures in a yearbook....one after another after another.
The second one is of having someone attach to my aura...this happened about a year ago. Interesting that the article mentions how “mirroring” happens. The guy that attached to me had committed suicide. He also liked to drink and smoke. Funny thing about this is, before my awakening I was prone to suicidal thoughts. Years ago I was also a heavy drinker and smoker, but hadn’t had a cigarette or a drink for a long time, but when he attached to me it was full on....I started smoking and drinking.
Very interesting indeed......
I had a question for you since we have touched on this before. I have had several psychics tell me over the past year that when we close our eyes at night and start seeing faces that we're seeing ghosts that are nearby or even spirit attachments. But I'm not so sure that's the case for me. First off, I see completely different people every night. I would think if there were an attachment or a ghost that hangs around that I would see a repeat of their face. But instead I get different faces each night. And quite often I will see little clips of movie like scenes of people talking or working together. And I never have any idea what that's all about or what that means. Since its so random what I see with my 3rd eye each night, I'm just not sure what I'm channeling. What do you think in your case? Are you seeing a repeat of faces or images each time?
And with your prior attachment, I have heard and read many first hand accounts of people having dramatic lifestyle changes due to attachments. People who never drink or gamble are all of a sudden getting smashed and gambling away their money. People who are happily married all of a sudden start having affairs. Even straight people who all of a sudden start having homosexual experiences. And probably most common, I hear about people with attachments start having incredible out of the ordinary bad luck (this last one has happened to me often). We read about weird things in the news every day. Like a perfectly nice guy that everybody loved who all of a sudden snaps for no reason and kills himself and his family. Or a happily married couple who all of a sudden start having affairs. It makes me wonder how often people are impacted and even manipulated by unseen things like earth bound spirits?
With me it’s different faces every night....my take on it is deceased people trying to get me to help them....we emit a light that the deceased can see...similar to what happens with mediums. I am in no way saying that I am a medium, but perhaps they see that the possibility is there.
On the attachment subject....I am more and more convinced every day that there is definitely influences by others on the other side of the veil, whether it be deceased folks or other entities. Most people cannot discern such but since I am more in tune with the other side of that veil, I can discern who or what is influencing me

I agree. It's really hard to understand what the faces are that we see when we close our eyes and open up our third eye. Some people think they are spirit attachments. Others think we're seeing ghosts and spirits that are around us at that moment. And there is a third theory that as we go astral in our sleep we are seeing other souls travelling in the astral. In my case I don't think I've ever seen the same face twice, and have never seen a face I recognize. I would think if it were an attachment that I would see repeated faces. So I'm currently guessing that I must be pulling in faces from the astral.
As for the subject of attachments, most people are not easily attached to by ghosts. But people with low vibration are targets for attachment as they are more easily accessed (people going through a heavy emotional time or drug users and alcoholics are examples of attachment targets). And unfortunately, empaths are attachment targets since our auras are very open by our design as emotional sponges. Empaths can guard against this by doing grounding and clearing exercises regularly.

This is the 1st time I've ever heard from another about the movie like flipping of faces before sleep.
I would see too many to count of all races and nationalities [noticed by dress] I never tried to formulate a reason for this as it was kind of a norm for me. But astral projections does make sense.
I've seen and felt ghosts all my life. One story I'll share was at a house I used to clean.
This would only happen in rhe master bedroom which also had an extraordinary amount of dust that would reappear after cleaning.
The first time I saw him was in the mirror of the bath area of the room [all open]. He startled me when I looked up from cleaning the sink and saw him over my left shoulder.
He was fuzzy at first but the more this happened, I could see that he was male. I never got a clear look at him as in life, just his outline and recognition that he was male.
This went on for many of my days there before I finally built up the nerve to ask the wife the following:
"At the risk of seeming odd, do you know if anyone died in this house?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, in your bedroom, I keep seeing a presence in the mirror, over my left shoulder. I don't feel frightened; it just startled me. And I believe it's a man."
The owner got real quiet for awhile and I'm wondering if she thinks I'm nuts....there goes my job.
She finally told me that yes, they did have a ghost and how it would pull pranks when all her kids were living at home.
She also said, "But we don't tell anyone about it."
I then asked, "Well, don't you think you should tell the cleaning lady about it?!" 😆
Anyway, his name was Bob and he had been a cantankerous elderly man who was the wife's neighbor during a previous abusive marriage. The old man liked her and would get very angry at her abuse.
Seems when he died, he attached to her and would scare the crap out of the abusive husband.
She remarried and Bob stayed with her becoming not a protecting presence but more of a prankster.
After she told ne this, I went to clean the bedroom and he came up behind me in a different area, across the room. That felt wierd and different so I told him to cut it out and he never bothered me again.
Years later, they moved and my son got invited to a birthday party in the same house with new owners. I don't know if it was Bob or a coincident but when I walked into the living room, a huge picture over the fireplace snapped it's thick wire and fell with a loud bang!
I have found that those of us who see faces or images when we close our eyes are a little more rare. I don't know if it's because using our third eye comes easier to us than others. But I bet only 10-20% of empaths have this ability.
Thanks for your story. It is not unheard of for a ghost to stick around in a protector role to see a loved one through a tough time. But your story is interesting because Bob stuck around even after the lady remarried and was no longer in an abusive situation. And then it also sounds like Bob even stuck around that house after they moved out. I wonder why? It wasn't even his house.
I'm a natural skeptic so I try to explain coincidences through logical or scientific means. But after many years of being an empath, I find that when coincidences happen around us empaths, 99% of the time it is no coincidence. Quite often it is a ghost or spirit guide trying to make contact or nudge you toward something. In your case I believe it was likely Bob snapping the wire, and he was either saying hello, or was annoyed that you came back. It may be the later since that seems like a more sinister move to break something. It also takes a lot of his precious energy stores to yank down a picture frame and break the hanger wire. That's an emotional outburst kind of like a 3 year old throwing a tantrum. And I bet Bob greatly weakend himself for some time making that happen as it is not easy, and takes a great amount of energy for ghosts to move physical objects like that. I'm guessing he was annoyed that you had the power to make him leave previously. He stayed away until you left the house years ago and then moved back in. And he's not happy to see you in his space again. If that was indeed Bob, it makes me again wonder what is keeping him here at his neighbor's house? Why has he not crossed over?
Quick question: Did you always see Bob through the mirror? Or did you see him without looking at the mirror?

I only saw him through the mirror. It was when he came up behind me, in another area of the room, that it felt weird and creepy. There was no mirror to view him. I firmly told him to, "Cut it out!" I don't remember him coming close ever again.
Except the time years later with new owners and the picture falling.
And you're right, it would have taken alot of energy to break that wire. It was thick gauage and not frayed.
The wife told me Bob was a crabby old man who nobody liked and he didn't like any one except the wife next door. And she was kind to him.
The way I figure it is, he'd be the same after death as he was in life.
So here I come along, an intruder, who can see him and told him to shove off...probably wasn't too happy to see me after all those years!
As for random spirits, telling them to go away works best. Family seems to stick around it seems no matter what.
