There is a book out called the ADHD Advantage. Many people go un-diagnosed (women more than men b/c the symptoms are similar but different.) Another reason is ADHD is more of an abstract time thinking (this book explains that more) and that type of thinking is usually how men think. If you are one of the unique women that do think this way (and I am sure many on here do because abstract is also creative, and it goes along with visual type thinking and extra -sensory perception) know that there is a label you can go by if you choose, but be wary of medication (it stunts creative thought, and dulls your senses) Just do what you love in life, be around people who are like you, and you can't go wrong. One point I wanted to make on here anyway, is that ADHD and anxiety tend to go hand in hand-not that people on here necessarily have it. But if you do -who CARE?!! embrace what makes you unique and different. Be a creative genius.
