I know a lot of Empaths get their charge from a connection to the stars. So if you are like me "the last to know", here's a link describing the Full Lunar Eclipse expected on the day of Winter Solstice.

(if it doesn't post here, I'll post it below)

Bring a cup of tea and know I'm sitting in my little world watching with you. Hey, what time would that be in UK?

We should get the time zone info out there. A Celestial Empath Meeting of Minds on the Winter Solstice. Kind of cool.

Check your local newspaper, bet they have something in there. Probably if you type into google your question somebody has already answered it.

I'm the last person in the world you'd want to ask to do the math to figure this one out. I think you are 12 hours a head of us. You'll be watching the day before I do. all at the same time??????????? Isn't that Quantum Physics?? LOL

What do you mean, * Let Roxy know * ....this is bigger than me. Let EVERY ONE know.

Just sayin'

;-)

BTW: Seems to be confusion re: time. This is a cut and paste from the link I posted above:

This year's event will take 3 hours and 38 minutes. The eclipse begins on Tuesday at 1:33 a.m. ET, when the Earth's dark-red shadow will turn up on the edge of the moon, according to NASA. It will take about an hour for the shadow to cover the entire moon. Totality begins at 2:41 a.m. and lasts for 72 minutes.

That's 1:33 a.m. Eastern Time. By eastern time I'm assuming they mean Eastern U.S. time zone and not the far east? -- God, I should have paid attention in school.

You are all on your own...lol ~~ But seriously, should we gather for the whole thing, or do I set my reminder alarm for the totality ending????? ponder ponder ponder

This is huge for Wiccan's and any other eceltic believer so I am posting some links that might you give some ideas to use this time for the highest potential for you. Also keep in mind that the winter solice is a time for transformation, and when we are dealing with an eclipse, the moon is literally completely a whole moon cycle in a matter of hours. This may be a good time for us to take a few minutes together and use that energy as collective to assist positive global transformation, especially with 2012 coming up. It's a long shot, but who know's maybe we ban "buffer" the severity of the effects of that time :) Any food for thought, let me know what you think. With the power of the eclipse, winter soltice and our empathic abilites, who knows what can be accomplished. :)

Ok, here are some links for a personal level.

oh and here is a really cool winter solitice meditation and a link to the site :)

Winter Solstice and New Year's Meditation
By Donna Leslie Thomson

Winter solstice is the longest night of the year. After the winter solstice the light returns, the days grow longer. The longest night of the year is a precious time. Night is a time of dream, vision and journey into the depths of oneself, the darkness of unknown possibility. From that journey into the dark new life as well as new light emerges.

The time of the winter solstice is the time of the labyrinth. It is a time for feeling your way in the dark. In the dark you have to feel your way. You can't see where you are going. You have to trust your senses, your intuition. The winter solstice is a time of heightened intuition, a time to pay attention to your intuition, believe in it.

The winter solstice has the energy of the womb and the days after the winter solstice have the energy of birth and becoming. The best meditation for the winter solstice is a simple one that some of you may already know. It is the star in the heart.

The evening of the winter solstice, turn out the lights, light a candle, and meditate quietly for a while with the candle, and then blow it out.

Click candle on or off

Sit for a while in the dark. Notice what arises. Is there a fear of the dark? Does it feel peaceful, relaxing? Ask that dark to guide you. People are fond of asking the light to guide them. But there is guidance in the depth of the night, in the darkness of the night sky.
Imagine the night sky. Imagine one star coming closer and closer and closer to you, until it enters your heart. Feel that star in the heart. It is radiant. Its bright white light permeates your being, pulsates within you. Feel yourself as a star in the sky, the darkness around you, the light within you, the energy that radiates from you. You, from your heart, by simply being, illumine the darkness. That radiance guides you and illumines the path for others. Light the candle again. Notice the shadows, the interplay of light and dark. You are participating always in that dance of light and dark, day and night, sun and moon and star and sky, the dance of the seasons, autumn, winter, spring, summer. Feel the rhythm of the flickering light, the stillness of the darkness. Feel the radiance of your own heart illuminating the night, guiding you as you feel your way through the labyrinth of this life, this world, this universe.

For the record: it's tonight after midnight.

So see ya'll there during this nightime into tomorrow morning. Empower your crystals. This event only happened one other time in the past 2000 years.

Rock on with ya own bad self Universe.
