Why can't I send EC email?

Repost of an old blog because someone else was having problems with the same thing... It appears that Internet Explorer 9 doesn't play nice with Ning communities. See the comments section for a link that describes the problem.

Hi there!

I heard from someone else that she was having trouble sending email here on EC, and now I seem to be having the same difficulty. Can any of you help me figure out what's going on? I haven't been able to send mail for a few days, although I can receive mail just fine, and apparently I can post blog entries. I think it might have to do with a recent upgrade to IE9, although I'm fairly certain that the problem started before that.

Any technical insight you all can provide would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Lynn. I've tried that, and I've tried logging out and back in too. I just checked my install date for Internet Explorer 9 against the date that I was last able to send email here, and lo and behold, it's the same date. I'm going totry togo back to a previous IE version to see if that's the problem. Is anyone else running IE9 with EC? If so, are you having any problems?

Yep. I uninstalled the IE9 update, and was back in business.
